美国研究型大学教学与科研关系的演化

【摘要】：出现于19世纪后期的美国研究型大学,使科研和研究生教育在美国高等教育系统中找到了合法位置。从出现到"二战",美国研究型大学经历了设法"容纳"科研到偏重科研的过程。"二战"之后,美国研究型大学获得了巨大发展,走进"黄金时代",但随之却遭遇了"重科研轻教学"的日益激烈的评判。20世纪八九十年代以来,美国研究型大学开启颇具声势的本科教育重建运动,教学与科研关系有所改善。
[Abstract]:American research universities, which appeared in the late 19th century, made scientific research and graduate education legal in the American higher education system. From its emergence to World War II, American research universities experienced the process of "accommodating" scientific research to focusing on scientific research. After World War II, American research universities made great progress and entered the "golden age," but then encountered the increasingly fierce judgment of "emphasizing scientific research and neglecting teaching." since the 1980s and 1990s, Research universities in the United States have launched a vigorous undergraduate education reconstruction movement, and the relationship between teaching and research has improved.
