传媒教育发展要兼具科学精神和实践创新能力——访香港浸会大学传理学院院长黄煜教授

【摘要】：大数据时代,传媒教育行业被赋予了前所未有的责任和重担,同时也提出了空前的挑战,只有将大数据与新闻传播学相结合,学习并掌握新的思考方法和新的技能,研究如何将大数据有效地运用到传媒教育当中,才能推动传媒教育事业的突破性发展。香港浸会大学传理学院成立于1991年,前身为1968年创建的传理学系,是香港最早开设传媒专业的大学,传媒教育享有"亚洲第一"美誉。浸大传理学院拥有全球化的教育理念和教学方法,是全港首家应用"全球媒体网"的院校,把普通的教室变成全球化课室,让来自多个国家的师生可以通过网络一起学习与交流,以开拓学生国际视野来把握和发展教育,提升学生就业率。本期采访的嘉宾正是传理学院院长黄煜教授,黄煜教授1994年怀抱着奉献祖国及人民的梦想,放弃英国电视台高薪工作,毅然加入浸大传理学院,投身于祖国乃至世界的传媒教育当中,至今已有二十余载,虽然得到过很多的奖励,但黄煜教授最满意的还是拥有一群忠于自己专业和理想、至今仍抱着浪漫主义的精神行走在新闻最前线的莘莘学子。今天,就让我们走近这位让人尊敬的传媒教育学者,来聆听他对传媒教育的思考。
[Abstract]:In big data's time, the media education industry was entrusted with unprecedented responsibilities and burdens, and at the same time put forward unprecedented challenges. Only by combining big data with journalism and communication, could we learn and master new thinking methods and new skills. How to effectively apply big data to media education can promote the breakthrough development of media education. The School of Communication of the Hong Kong Baptist University was founded in 1991, formerly known as the Department of Communications, which was founded in 1968. It is the first university in Hong Kong to set up a major in the field of media. Media education enjoys the reputation of "Asia first". The HKBU School of Journalism has a global education philosophy and teaching methods. It is the first institution in Hong Kong to use the "Global Media Network" to turn ordinary classrooms into global classrooms. Let the teachers and students from many countries study and communicate together through the network, in order to expand the students' international vision to grasp and develop education, enhance the student employment rate. The guest interviewed in this issue was Professor Huang Yu, dean of the College of Communication Science. In 1994, Professor Huang Yu gave up his high salary job on British television and joined the College of Journalism and Sciences in the Baptist University, embracing the dream of giving up the motherland and the people. It has been more than 20 years since he devoted himself to media education in the motherland and the world. Although he has received many awards, Professor Huang Yu is most satisfied with having a group of people who are loyal to their profession and ideals. Still in the Romantic spirit of walking in the forefront of the news students. Today, let's approach this respected media educator and listen to his thoughts on media education.
