【摘要】： 我国教师在做学生工作时会使用两种不同的教育手段:一种是刚性的管理,一种是在方向和方法上给予建议的指导。然而,后一种做法在大陆的教育理论中却鲜有论述。大多数情况下,它和前者被笼统地归于同一概念下——“德育工作”。学生指导本应占有如何地位,在我国为何没有概念化呢? 为了回答上述问题,本文对指导实践的发展历史和指导在教育理论中的地位进行了考查。通过对历史的探究,发现最初的教育就是指导。随着课程的出现,指导成为教学职能的有益补充。后来青少年成长中的问题逐渐增多,推动了概念化的现代指导的出现。现代指导的含义和实施方式也经历了系列变化,最终成为学校教育不可或缺的组成部分。所以,从指导实践的发展历程来看,指导从来都是教育的职能。通过对“教育目的—手段框架”中目的和手段关系的探究,发现指导是教育手段之一,致力于每一个教育目的的实现。所以,从对教育理论的分析来看,指导应该成为一种重要的教育手段。然而,虽然我国大陆的学校教育中存在大量的指导,却遇到无法概念化的困境。原因在于大陆教育中“目的—手段框架”的混乱,其典型代表是将作为教育目的的道德教育当作一项工作来实施。“德育工作”的提法不仅挤占了学生指导的空间,而且模糊了指导和管理的区别,从而造成教育实践中分工不明、管理过重的问题。要使学生指导走出困境,就需要再次明晰教育目的和手段各自的位置,并限定各种教育手段的界线。在实际操作过程中,需要建立指导制度、组织,明确指导责任,培养教师的指导意识。
