基于原型理论对大学生词汇学习和教学的研究

  摘要词汇是语言必不可缺的一部分,是构成语言的基础。2007年教育部颁发的《大学英语教学大纲》对学生的词汇量及词汇知识的掌握提出了明确的要求。然而,目前大学生的词汇量远未达到大纲要求的标准,并且在大学英语词汇教学中存在一种普遍的现象:学生花费了大量时间,得到的效果却不理想。表现为词汇记忆力低下,词汇掌握分散,形近词辨别能力低等。根据大学生的认知特点和规律,本文设计了关于词汇学习和教学的问卷调查,结果发现产生这些问题的一个主要原因是,学生的词汇学习和教师的词汇教学都没有充分认识和运用英语词汇语义关系的认知特点和规律。学生和教师通常忽略目标词汇与其他词汇之间基于语义关系的内部联系,以一种单独孤立的方法记忆学习和教学单词。由于原型理论能够对英语词汇的语义关系有独到的分析,对英语词汇教学有重要的指导作用,所以为了改进大学生英语词汇学习和教学状况,本文运用认知语言学的原型理论对英语词汇的语义关系进行了理论研究,探索了原型效应在英语同义、反义、上下义、-词多义等语义关系上的体现。通过对此理论的分析运用,本文目标旨在帮助学生扩大词汇量并且提高词汇记忆效果。在理论探讨的前提下,本文还通过实证研究探索了原...
