原型范畴理论下大学英语多义词教学实证研究

在外语教学中,词汇教学是其中一个重要组成部分。而在词汇教学中,一词多义又是最难掌握的部分。教师们竭尽全力帮助学生提高词汇量和词汇运用能力,但仍有学生在认识文章所有单词的前提下却还是无法理解文章所表达的意思,问题在于多义词的存在。多义词是指一个单词具有两个或者两个以上的词义,是语言学研究中的一个重要课题。由于受传统语言学研究的影响,语言学家们过于强调语言的外部结构,认为多义词的各个义项之间是没有任何联系的,忽视了语言内部和外部的联系。其无法给与多义词一个完整的理解和解释。本文主要是从认知语言学的原型范畴理论出发,将原型范畴理论应用到大学英语多义词教学中去,探讨原型范畴理论对大学英语多义词教学的重要意义,同时强调隐喻和转喻认知机制对词义延伸所起到的重要作用。本实证研究以西安欧亚学院会计专业130人为受试对象,将其分为实验班和控制班。对实验班的学生采取以原型范畴理论为主,隐喻和转喻两大认知机制为辅的多义词教学模式;控制班进行传统的多义词教学模式。经过16周的教学试验,将实验班和控制班的学生对多义词的学习兴趣和学习成绩进行了对比研究。实验所得数据均采用SPSS19.0软件进行了统计和分析,通过...
