原型范畴理论在高职英语多义词教学中的应用

一词多义是人类语言的普遍现象,是指一个单词具有两个或者两个以上的词义。传统语言学受结构主义的影响强调语言的结构,忽略了多义词不同意义之间的联系。本文从认知语言学中的原型范畴理论出发,强调多义词词义中的中心成员与边缘成员之间的联系,认为在多义词学习中,学生应该先学习多义词的基本意义,然后在原型范畴理论的帮助下进一步地掌握其他非基本词义,有效激活学生的词汇层级结构图和语义联系网。使学生采用最经济的认知方式来学习多义词,同时提高他们的多义词猜词能力。基于前人对于原型范畴理论在多义词中的应用,本论文下就问题如下:原型范畴理论在多义词教学中的应用是否能够提高学生对多义词的学习兴趣?原型范畴理论在多义词教学中的应用是否能够促进学生对多义词的长时记忆?原型范畴理论在多义词教学中的应用能否提高学生对多义词的猜词能力?本论文采用实证研究的研究方法,在营口职业技术学院选取了旅游系大二的两个平行班级进行对比教学研究。实验班采用原型范畴理论指导下的多义词教学模式,控制班采用传统的多义词教学模式,进行为期一学期的教学实验。实验后,基于对实验数据的分析得出结果,实验班和控制班在后测一的平均分分别为28.19和25...
