大学英语教师职业倦怠和心理控制源的相关性研究

【摘要】:职业倦怠是美国临床心理学家赫伯特.费登伯格于1974年研究职业压力时首次提出的。职业倦怠现象经常出现在以人为服务对象的行业中。国内外学者研究发现,作为教育事业专业工作者的教师已经成为职业倦怠的高发人群。职业倦怠对教师的身心健康、教学质量及教师队伍的稳定都构成很大的威胁。陷入倦怠的教师对待学生缺乏同情心,对班级的纪律容忍性低,对教学工作缺乏热情。教师职业倦怠既影响教师正常教学水平,也影响学生的学习效率,进而影响教学质量。 纵观国内关于教师职业倦怠的研究,大多是针对中小学教师的倦怠情况进行调查研究的,较少对高校教师,尤其是大学英语教师这一特殊群体的职业倦怠的调查研究。此外,国内学者大多集中分析教师职业倦怠的情境因素,很少学者着重分析个体影响因素。结合心理控制源研究教师职业倦怠的相关文章也少见。因此,本研究通过问卷调查,了解目前广西壮族自治区高等师范学校大学英语教师的职业倦怠和心理控制源的情况,论文同时进一步探讨教师职业倦怠和心理控制源的相关性,并且分析探讨了如何缓解大学英语教师的职业倦怠症状。 本研究对广西壮族自治区3所高等师范院校145位大学英语教师的职业倦怠和心理控制源的现状进行了问卷调查。通过数据分析和讨论,调查结果显示: (1)目前,广西壮族自治区大学英语教师存在职业倦怠现象,95%的教师职业倦怠程度达到中等水平,而且情感衰竭程度比较高。 (2)大学英语教师职业倦怠在性别、年龄、教龄、职称和学历这五个方面没有显著的差异。但具体说来,男性教师在情感衰竭和去人性化程度高于女教师;31-35岁、教龄5-10年的教师情感衰竭程度较高,36-40岁、教龄3-5年的教师在低个人成就感程度较高,年龄36-40岁、教龄10-15年的教师去人性化程度较高;硕士学位的教师职业倦怠程度较高。 (3)大学英语教师在内控性得分较高,但大部分受测者相信发生在他们身上的事情是由有势力他人和机遇决定的,即受测者大多是外控型的,只有小部分人相信事情的结果是由自己的努力、行为和能力所决定的,即内控者。 (4)大学英语教师的心理控制源在年龄、教龄和学历这三方面没有显著差异。但是在性别和职称这两方面却存在着差异性。 (5)职业倦怠和心理控制源的相关性:内控的教师比外控的教师职业倦怠程度低,外控型的教师比内控型教师更容易发生职业倦怠。具体来说,心理控制源和情感衰竭、去人性化都达到中等程度的正相关;职业倦怠和内控型心理控制源呈负相关,和外控型的心理控制源则呈正相关的关系。 该研究通过线性回归分析验证个人心理控制源对职业倦怠的预测效果是31.9%,也就是说心理控制源只是影响职业倦怠的一部分因素。由此,本研究从提高大学英语教师控制点的角度出发,提出相关的建议以缓解大学英语教师职业倦怠。
[Abstract]:Occupation burnout is the American clinical psychologist Herbert McFadden. Berg on the occupation pressure in 1974 is proposed for the first time. The phenomenon of occupation burnout often appears in people serving industry. Domestic and foreign scholars have found that as education professional teachers have become the high risk population of occupation burnout. Occupation burnout of physical and mental health of teachers. The teaching quality and the stability of the teachers constitute a great threat. In burnout of teachers with students lack of compassion, tolerance to low class discipline, lack of enthusiasm for the work of teaching. Teachers' occupational burnout not only affects the normal teaching level of teachers, but also affects students' learning efficiency, thereby affecting the quality of teaching.
A study on Teachers' occupation burnout throughout the country, mostly to investigate burnout of primary and middle school teachers. Few of college teachers, especially the study of this special group of College English teachers' occupation burnout. In addition, most of the domestic scholars focus on situational factors of teachers occupation burnout, few scholars have focused on analysis of the individual influence factors associated with the article. The locus of control of teachers occupation burnout is also rare. Therefore, this research through the questionnaire survey to understand the current situation of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region higher normal school college English teachers occupation burnout and locus of control, at the same time, to further explore the relationship between teachers' occupation burnout and locus of control, and discussed how to alleviate the symptoms of occupation burnout of College English teachers.
In this study, we investigated the status of job burnout and locus of control among 145 College English teachers in 3 normal universities in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
(1) at present, there are job burnout among English teachers in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region University, and 95% of them have moderate level of job burnout, and the degree of emotional exhaustion is relatively high.
(2) College English teachers occupation burnout in gender, age, seniority, title and degree was no significant difference between these five aspects. But specifically, male teachers than female teachers in emotional exhaustion and depersonalization; 31-35 years experience of 5-10 years teachers' emotional exhaustion degree, 36-40 years experience of 3-5 the teachers feel the high degree of low personal achievement, age 36-40 years, age 10-15 years of teaching to a higher degree of humanity; Master of the high degree of teachers' occupation burnout.
(3) College English teachers in the internal control of higher scores, but the majority of respondents believe that what has happened to them by the powerful others and chance to decide, which subjects are mostly external control type, only a small number of people believe that it is by their own efforts, the decision for and ability, namely the internal control.
(4) the locus of control of College English teachers has no significant difference in three aspects: age, teaching age and educational background. However, there are differences in two aspects of gender and professional title.
(5) correlation between occupation burnout and locus of control: the teachers' Occupation Burnout of the teachers' internal external locus of control than the low external control type of teachers than internal teachers are more prone to occupation burnout. Specifically, locus of control and emotional exhaustion, depersonalization have reached a moderate positive correlation and occupation burnout; internal locus of control had negative correlation relationship between locus of control and external control are positively related.
The study predicted by linear regression analysis to verify the effect of individual locus of control for occupation burnout is 31.9%, that is to say the locus of control is a part of the effect of occupation burnout factors. Therefore, the study of College English teachers from the control point of view, put forward relevant recommendations to alleviate the College English teachers' occupation burnout.
