基于Readium的Android电子教材阅读系统的设计与开发

【摘要】:信息技术的普遍应用给教育带来了革命性的变化,原本局限于课堂这一物理空间的教学活动被拓展到虚拟空间,学习者的学习诉求由于各种信息软件和硬件的使用得到了极大的满足。数字化教材不仅仅只是传统纸质教材的数字化镜像,还可以作为连接物理空间和虚拟空间的桥梁,为多种教学模式和教学活动提供支持。实践表明,数字化教材具有传统纸质教材无与伦比的优势,已成为教育研究部门和各商业机构争相研究和应用的技术。数字化教材需要在应用中体现其内容丰富、富媒体、可交互、可扩展等优势,这离不开相应的应用软件与设备。目前很多电子书阅读系统只能够满足基本的文字阅读需求,无法支撑数字化教材的诸多特性,无法完全发挥出数字化教材的全部潜力,这一问题严重阻碍了电子书和数字化教材在我国教育教学中的应用。因此,为推进我国数字化教材的深入应用,开发一个能有效发挥电子教材教学特性,可以满足现代教学需求的电子教材阅读系统是必要的。本文以开放的电子书标准——epub作为数字化教材格式,借助Readium开源框架的技术基础,在安卓平台上设计和开发了一个可以充分发挥epub电子书特点的阅读系统,主要研究工作包括:1、对现代教育与学习理论进行了研究,分析了电子教材与电子教材阅读系统的相关理论。通过调研完成系统需求分析,设计出一个可以满足现代教学基本需求的epub格式电子教材阅读系统:2、研究了 epub格式电子书的基本特点,设计在安卓平台解析显示epub电子书页面的解决方案。研究Readium开源项目的基本机制与结构;3、根据用户的需求,在电子书阅读系统的客户端实现书城、书架、手势翻页、注释、属性设置、收集学习行为数据等功能,丰富了 Android客户端的阅读和学习支持功能;本文以电子教材的相关理论为依据,分析Readium开源项目所提供的epub解析与显示机制,设计并开发了一个能够为用户提供学习服务的epub阅读系统,以弥补现有电子书阅读软件的不足,希望能为数字化教材的广泛应用提供技术支撑。
[Abstract]:The widespread application of information technology has brought revolutionary changes to education, and the teaching activities, which were originally confined to the physical space of classroom, have been expanded to virtual space. Learners' learning demands are greatly satisfied by the use of various information software and hardware. Digital teaching material is not only the digital mirror image of traditional paper teaching material, but also can be used as a bridge between physical space and virtual space, providing support for various teaching modes and teaching activities. Practice shows that digital textbooks have the unparalleled advantages of traditional paper teaching materials, and have become the research and application technology of educational research departments and commercial organizations. Digital teaching materials need to embody the advantages of rich content, rich media, interactive, extensible and so on, which can not be separated from the corresponding application software and equipment. At present, many e-book reading systems can only meet the basic reading needs, can not support the many characteristics of digital textbooks, can not fully play the full potential of digital textbooks. This problem has seriously hindered the application of e-books and digital textbooks in education and teaching in China. Therefore, in order to promote the further application of digital teaching materials in our country, it is necessary to develop an electronic teaching material reading system which can give full play to the teaching characteristics of electronic teaching materials and can meet the needs of modern teaching. In this paper, the open e-book standard, epub, is used as the digital teaching material format. With the help of the technical foundation of Readium open source framework, we design and develop a reading system on Android platform that can give full play to the features of epub e-books. The main research work includes the study of modern education and learning theory, and the analysis of the relevant theories of electronic teaching material and electronic reading system. Through the investigation and completion of the system demand analysis, we designed a reading system of epub format electronic textbook, which can meet the basic needs of modern teaching, and studied the basic characteristics of the epub format e-book. Design a solution for analyzing and displaying epub ebook pages on Android platform. This paper studies the basic mechanism and structure of the Readium open source project. According to the user's demand, it realizes the functions of book city, bookshelf, gesture page turning, annotation, attribute setting, data collection of learning behavior and so on in the client side of the e-book reading system. It enriches the reading and learning support function of Android client. Based on the theory of electronic teaching materials, this paper analyzes the epub parsing and display mechanism provided by Readium open source project. This paper designs and develops a epub reading system which can provide users with learning services to make up for the deficiency of the existing e-book reading software. It is hoped that it can provide technical support for the wide application of digital textbooks.
