晚清两湖书院变革与西学传播研究

【摘要】：从唐代兴起到20世纪初改为学堂，中国古代书院肩负地方教学重任，通过讲学、藏书、供祀三大事业，成为传播文化、传承学术、承担社会教化的重要组织。在发展历程的尾声阶段，晚清时期书院的变革与当时政治、经济、社会领域的动荡息息相关。书院通过变革引入西学，对中国近代社会的改革和知识分子转型的影响不容小觑。作为文化传播媒介和传统的学术中心，书院是在怎样的社会背景下走向了拥抱西学的变革之路？在中西学碰撞融合中，书院如何引入西学、重新定位？书院的变革产生了怎样的社会影响？本文以两湖书院为研究对象，深入分析两湖书院创立、变革时的社会背景，研究其教学改制、学术转向，通过介绍两湖书院引入西学的具体情况，，探究书院引入西学后的社会影响，并进一步考察书院引入西学对知识分子思想的影响。
[Abstract]:From the Tang Dynasty to the beginning of twentieth Century to school, China ancient academy shoulder local teaching task, through lectures, books, for worship of the three enterprise, become the dissemination of culture, heritage of academic, undertake important organization of social education. In the end stage of development, the college reform period in the late Qing Dynasty and the political, economic and social fields the turmoil are closely related. Through the introduction of Western learning to change, China modern social reform and transformation of intellectuals of the impact should not be underestimated. As the culture media and the traditional academic center, the academy is in what social background to embrace the Western way? In the collision and fusion of Western learning in college, how to introduce western culture, re positioning? Produced a kind of social impact academy reform? The Hunan Hubei academy as the research object, in-depth analysis of Hunan Hubei Academy was founded, when the change of the social background, the study of teaching School reform, academic steering, through the specific introduction of Hunan Hubei Academy of Western learning, social influence on College after the introduction of western culture, and further investigation into the influence of western culture on college intellectuals.
