【摘要】：中国近代高等工程教育在近代社会的大变革中担负着中国独立自主发展科技进步的重任；承载着中国高等教育人才培养的希冀。中国高等工程教育经历了从“后发移植型”的起步到今天随着中国高等教育的蓬勃发展而在国际化的工程教育领域日趋成熟。中国近代高等工程教育家在中国高等工程教育的进程中起到举足轻重的作用，他们的教育思想和教育实践更是引导和推动着近代工程教育的发展。近代工程教育家群体深具中国近代鲜明的时代色彩，，教育家的产生具有相同的社会环境、近似的留学过程和相同的志向抱负，他们在剧烈的社会变革中从“教育救国”思想出发，将中国传统文化和西方工程教育思想兼容并包，结合中国工程发展和工程人才培养的实际需要，不断地创新尝试将西方工程教育思想及其实践在中国进行“本土化”研究；对传统文化中的“经世致用”教育思想进行新诠释；将“完全人”的全面教育思想、“与时俱进”的工程人才培养和“德育为先”的高等教育价值观培养进行新的时代解读，有力推动中国近代工程教育发展。教育家们对于工程教育的理念在经历了近代中国历史的洗礼后，他们思想中的闪光点在今日中国高等工程教育改革中仍然起到了指引和借鉴的作用。中国近代高等工程教育家思想是中国工程教育改革与发展的宝贵资源。
[Abstract]:Higher engineering education in modern China is shouldering the important task of independent development of science and technology in the great transformation of modern society and carrying the hope of cultivating talents of higher education in China. China's higher engineering education has experienced from the start of "late transplantation" to today with the vigorous development of higher education in China and in the field of international engineering education is becoming more and more mature. Higher engineering educators in modern China played an important role in the process of higher engineering education in China, and their educational thought and practice guided and promoted the development of modern engineering education. The group of modern engineering educationalists has a distinctive contemporary color in modern China. The emergence of educators has the same social environment, similar process of studying abroad and the same ambition. Starting from the idea of "education and saving the nation", they combine Chinese traditional culture with western engineering education in the fierce social transformation, and combine the actual needs of China's engineering development and engineering talent training. Constantly innovating and trying to "localize" the western engineering education thought and its practice in China, giving a new interpretation to the educational thought of "applying the world to the world" in the traditional culture, and making a comprehensive education thought of "perfect person". The cultivation of engineering talents with the times and the cultivation of higher education values based on moral education can promote the development of engineering education in modern China. After experiencing the baptism of modern Chinese history, educators still play a guiding and referential role in the reform of higher engineering education in China. The thought of higher engineering educator in modern China is a valuable resource for the reform and development of engineering education in China.
