在线形成性评价的有效性研究

【摘要】: 远程教育质量保证一直是备受远程教育机构重视的问题。中央广播电视大学自1999年教育部批准开展“中央广播电视大学人才培养模式改革和开放教育试点”项目以来,一直把形成性考核作为远程开放教育教学质量保证体系的重要组成部分;作为强化素质教育,加强教学过程管理,反馈学习信息,改进课程考核方式方法的重要措施。 网络技术为进一步提高形成性评价中反馈的有效性和及时性提供了可能性。国外研究机构对应用网络技术帮助解决反馈的有效性等方面进行了一些相关研究。国内的远程教育院校也开始尝试在线形成性评价的实验研究,如中央广播电视大学(简称中央电大)开展的基于网络的课程形成性考核等,但对这种评价形式的有效性与时效性的研究未查得相关文献。 本研究结合中央电大开展的“宏微观经济学”等6门课程的基于网络的课程形成性考核(简称形考)试点项目,,提取中央电大基于网络的形成性测评系统平台2005年9月1日—2006年2月28日期间(中央电大05秋学期)的服务器日志数据,克服数据提取、数据转换和数据统计与分析等研究阶段的困难,将其作为院校数据,对教师评阅数量、时间及内容进行了分析,并结合访谈法和问卷法对在线形成性评价的有效性与时效性进行研究。 中央电大根据前期分析结果对其形成性测评系统平台进行了升级改造,增加了形考任务完成统计、形考任务完成明细等功能,为教师提供了及时的教学情况反馈,同时也增强中央电大对辅导教师的监控效果。主要研究结果有: (1)在线形成性评价可以进一步提高评价的有效性。研究发现在线形成性评价的实施可以为学生提供持续、全面和有解释的教师反馈,不仅可以根据学生的个别化需要提供有针对性的帮助,还可对某些共性问题进行结构化的反馈。在线形成性评价可以提供有效的个别化反馈,这不仅能实现书面评价的功能,而且进一步提高了评价的有效性。 (2)在线形成性评价保证了评价的及时性。由于省却了邮政信件往来的时间,与传统书面作业相比,在线形成性评价的及时性得到很大提高。本研究进一步证实网络技术可以更好地保证评价的及时性。 (3)在线形成性评价可以提高教师的教学效率。在线形成性评价为教师提供了更为便捷多样的反馈方式,为教师提供更为及时的教学反馈,提高了教师的评阅效率,提高教师的教学效率。 (4)在线形成性评价可以提高管理的质量与效率。形成性测评系统平台的监控功能已经比较完善,可以随时监控和检查每个辅导教师的评阅情况,并提供教师评阅情况统计和学生完成情况统计的功能。 (5)在线形成性评价存在技术门槛,深入开展仍需要一个过程。它的实施效果依赖教师和学生的计算机和网络技术的水平。技术障碍仍然是许多教师和学生参加基于网络的形成性评价的困难之一。 建议下一步进行如下的研究: (1)加强基于网络的形成性考核的任务设计。提高基于网络的形成性考核的有效性和可行性必须要加强任务的设计。主要从内容的设计和减少抄袭的设计上进行加强。 (2)加强教师的教学管理和教学支持。 (3)改进形成性测评系统平台的功能。主要建议进行如下的改进:任务提交截止日期的提醒。增加与电大在线学生学习平台的链接。统计功能和查看评语功能的继续完善。提高FAQ的有效性。
[Abstract]:The quality assurance of distance education has been a problem which has been paid much attention by the long - distance education institutions . Since 1999 , the Central Radio and Television University has carried on the formative assessment as an important part of the quality assurance system of remote open education since the Ministry of Education approved the project of " Training Mode Reform and Open Education Pilot " in the Central Radio and TV University .
As an important measure to strengthen quality education , strengthen teaching process management , feedback learning information and improve the methods of curriculum assessment .









The network technology provides the possibility for further improving the effectiveness and timeliness of feedback in formative assessment . The foreign research institutions have carried out some research on the application of network technology to help solve the effectiveness of feedback . The domestic distance education institutions also begin to try on the experimental research of online formative assessment , such as the network - based curriculum formative assessment carried out by the Central Radio and Television University ( CCTV ) , but no relevant literature has been found on the validity and timeliness of this evaluation form .









Based on the network - based curriculum formative assessment of six courses , such as macro - micro economics , this paper analyzes the data of server log , which is based on the network - based formative assessment system platform , which is based on the network - based formative assessment system platform of September 1 , 2005 to Feb . 28 , 2006 . It analyzes the quantity , time and content of the teacher ' s reading , data conversion and data statistics and analysis , and combines interview method and questionnaire method to study the effectiveness and timeliness of online formative assessment .









According to the results of the preliminary analysis , the Central Electric Power Plant has upgraded the platform of the formative assessment system , added the functions of completing the examination task to complete the statistics and completing the examination task , and provided timely feedback to the teachers , and meanwhile , the monitoring effect of the central electric power on the tutor is enhanced .









( 1 ) On - line formative assessment can further improve the effectiveness of the evaluation . It is found that the implementation of the online formative assessment can provide students with continuous , comprehensive and explained teacher feedback , which not only can provide targeted help according to the individual needs of the students , but also can carry out structured feedback on some common problems . The online formative assessment can provide effective individualized feedback , which not only can realize the function of written evaluation , but also improve the effectiveness of the evaluation .









( 2 ) On - line formative assessment ensures the timeliness of evaluation . The timeliness of online formative assessment is greatly improved as compared with traditional written work due to the time of postal correspondence . This study further confirms that the network technology can better guarantee the timeliness of evaluation .









( 3 ) On - line formative assessment can improve teacher ' s teaching efficiency . On - line formative assessment provides more convenient and varied feedback to teachers , providing more timely teaching feedback for teachers , improving teachers ' reading efficiency and improving teachers ' teaching efficiency .









( 4 ) On - line formative assessment can improve the quality and efficiency of management . The monitoring function of the formative assessment system platform has been improved . It is possible to monitor and check the review of each tutor at any time , and to provide the statistics of the teacher ' s review and the function of the student ' s performance statistics .









( 5 ) On - line formative assessment has a technical threshold , and a process is still needed . Its implementation depends on the level of computer and network technology of teachers and students . Technical barriers are still one of the difficulties for many teachers and students to participate in network - based formative assessment .









The next step is recommended as follows :









( 1 ) To strengthen the task design of network - based formative assessment . To improve the effectiveness and feasibility of network - based formative assessment , it is necessary to strengthen the design of the task .









( 2 ) To strengthen the teaching management and teaching support of teachers .









( 3 ) Improve the functionality of the formative assessment system platform . The main recommendations are as follows : reminders for the deadline for submission of tasks . Add links to the online student learning platform . Statistical functions and the continuous improvement of the function of viewing comments . Improve the effectiveness of the FAQ .
