利用报刊阅读培养小学高段学生的自主学习能力

在目前的小学英语教学中,学生的英语学习处于被动的状态。学生对英语学习的兴趣不够浓厚,缺乏学习自信心。随着年级的升高,英语学习两极分化的现象越来越明显。英语自主学习可以帮助学生建立学习信心,提高学生的学习兴趣,促进学生语言能力与学习能力的同步提高。因此,培养学生的英语自主学习能力已成为当前小学英语教学的紧迫任务。初高中和大学的许多教师研究了运用报纸培养学生的英语自主学习能力,但是类似的研究在小学届是鲜有的。本文尝试从实证的角度研究报刊阅读和提高学生英语自主学习能力之间的关系。研究问题包括：1.报刊阅读能否培养学生的自主学习意识,激发学生的自主学习动机?2.报刊阅读能否提升学生的自主学习能力?3.学生在自主学习能力上的提升能否促进英语水平的提高?本研究采用定性和定量相结合的研究方法,主要包括问卷调查、学生访谈和成绩分析等多种研究手段。本文首先探讨了自主学习的基本理论和应用报刊阅读于英语教学的研究成果。为了探讨运用报刊阅读培养学生自主学习能力的可行性和有效性,作者将21世纪报应用于英语教学中,进行了为期十二周的实证研究。本次研究的成果如下：1.学生通过自主制定关于阅读《21世纪英文报.小学版》的学习计划,开展读报活动和自主评价,对英语学习的兴趣更加浓厚了,建立了学习自信心,形成了一定的自主学习意识。2.学生通过自主开展读报活动,运用一定的自主学习策略,提高了自主学习英语的能力,掌握了一定的阅读策略。3.实验班英语后测的平均分明显高于前测的平均分,说明自主阅读报刊这一方法确实提高了学生的英语水平。最后,作者总结了本次研究的主要发现、存在的不足以及对今后研究的一些建议。
