小学英语自然拼读法的渐进式教学研究

【摘要】:词汇学习是英语教学的一个重要组成部分,然而记住大量词汇对于学习者,尤其是小学生来说具有较大困难。自然拼读法的核心是建立英语字母或字母组合与语音之间的对应关系,实现学生更加自主地学习,现在正被越来越多的学者和一线教师所关注。鉴于语言环境不同、语言体系的巨大差异及母语习得和外语习得的区别,建立字母与发音的概念的过程不是通过一节课或一个阶段就能解决的,自然拼读法教学应该是一种从课堂教学到自主学习的自然过渡以及从低层次到高层次的分层渐进的过程。基于以上背景,作者认为“自然拼读法”在小学的研究还需要有计划、有步骤,要通盘考虑,寻找一条适合小学生学情的自然拼读法渐进式教学之路。本文以在教学实践中采用自然拼读法为基本线索,对第一手英语教学资料《The Synthetic Phonics Toolkit》进行解析和本土化改良,教学内容被划分为具体课时,且对每课时的教学过程及评价方式都进行了渐进式设计。通过教学实施个案,围绕三大问题开展深入研究:第一,如何编排渐进式的教学内容;第二,如何开展渐进式的教学过程;第三,如何实施渐进式的教学评价。具体而言,本研究选取N市某小学的一个二年级组的两个班级作为研究对象,每班平均36人。研究主要采取文献法及案例研究法等对研究过程进行资料的收集、记录和分析。设计者对该方案进行了初步的实践,精心编排了渐进式的教学内容,把内容按照规律划分为三个阶段进行有计划地教学;开展渐进式的教学过程,将每个教学课时按照由易到难的梯度进行设计,开展丰富教学活动来帮助学生认识到英语字母及字母组合与语音的对应关系,并运用其规律进行主动学习;实施渐进式的教学评价,通过有针对性的评价,帮助学生学得更扎实,多数学生学习积极性以及自信心有较大提高。这些实践初步验证了该方案的可行性及有效性。本文希望通过小学英语自然拼读法的渐进式教学研究,为学校教学提供一个新的视角,并通过不断的实践与摸索,丰富和完善语音教学模式,促进学生可持续发展。
[Abstract]:Vocabulary learning is an important part of English teaching. However, it is difficult for learners, especially pupils, to remember a large number of vocabulary. The core of natural spelling is to establish the correspondence between English alphabet or alphabet combination and pronunciation so that students can learn more autonomously. Now more and more scholars and teachers are paying close attention to it. In view of the differences in language environments, language systems and the differences between native language acquisition and foreign language acquisition, the process of establishing the concept of alphabet and pronunciation is not solved in one class or one stage. The teaching of natural spelling method should be a natural transition from classroom teaching to autonomous learning and a gradual process from low level to high level. Based on the above background, the author thinks that the study of "natural spelling" in primary schools should be planned, step by step, and should be considered in an all-round way to find a way of gradual teaching of natural spelling method suitable for pupils' learning situation. Taking the natural spelling method as the basic clue in teaching practice, this paper analyzes and improves the first-hand English teaching material < the synthetic Phonics Toolkit, and the teaching content is divided into specific class hours. And the teaching process and evaluation methods of each class are designed step by step. Through the implementation of teaching cases, three major issues around the in-depth research: first, how to arrange the gradual teaching content; second, how to develop the gradual teaching process; third, how to implement the progressive teaching evaluation. Specifically, two classes of a second grade group in a primary school in N city were chosen as the research objects, with an average of 36 students in each class. Literature and case studies are used to collect, record and analyze the research process. The designer has carried on the preliminary practice to this plan, has arranged the gradual teaching content meticulously, divides the content into three stages according to the law to carry on the planned teaching, carries on the gradual teaching process, Design each teaching course according to the gradient from easy to difficult, carry out rich teaching activities to help students realize the corresponding relationship between English letters and their combination and pronunciation, and use their rules to learn actively; Implementation of progressive teaching evaluation, through targeted evaluation, to help students learn more solid, most students learning enthusiasm and self-confidence has been greatly improved. These practices demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the scheme. This paper hopes to provide a new angle of view for school teaching through the gradual teaching of natural spelling in primary school English, and to enrich and perfect the phonetic teaching mode through continuous practice and exploration to promote the sustainable development of students.
