2012版小学《新标准英语》的分析与评估

【摘要】:外语教学与研究出版社(简称外研社)出版的《新标准英语》在广西普遍使用。《新标准英语》根据《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》进行改版,新版本在2012年出版,这套新版的小学《新标准英语》教材有哪些优缺点?这套教材有多大程度符合《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》的要求?为了寻找这些答案,给教材编写者今后改进教材以及给教师更有效地使用教材提供建议,本论文主要通过对比、综合教材的内部和外部评价,找出教材的优缺点。内部评价使用的是何安平教授设计的评价表。评价表共有18个问题,分成5个维度—知识与科学性,思想文化内涵,心理与发展规律,编制水平以及可行性。计分方式如下:A,B,C,D的得分分别是4,3,2,1分。最后合计分数,分析数据。外部评价使用的是由Grant设计,程晓堂教授部分修改的调查问卷。问卷包括3部分,每个部分包含10个问题。这3个部分的标题分别是(1)教材是否与学生的学习需要相符合?(2)教材是否与教师的教学需要相符合?(3)教材是否与课程标准的需要相符合?计分如下:YES,2分;PARTLY,1分;NO,0分。最后统计分值,分析数据。通过对比、综合内部和外部评价,结果表明《新标准》小学英语教材有5个优点和5个不足之处。5个优点如下:(1)在教学目标、话题和功能方面与《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》基本一致;(2)有着系统的建构结构;(3)融合了其它学科知识;(4)为学习者提供了多种学习渠道;(5)可行性。5个不足之处是:(1)有一部分输入语言设计得不够得体;(2)文化内涵不足;(3)具有真实目的的交际活动不多;(4)对学生第二、三层次的认知能力的发展不足;(5)缺乏对学生想象力和创造力的培养。笔者针对教材的不足之处向编写者以及使用教材的教师提出若干建议。最后本文总结了此次研究,指出了不足之处以及提出了后续研究的建议。
[Abstract]:The New Standard English published by Foreign language Teaching and Research Publishing House is widely used in Guangxi. According to the English Curriculum Standard for compulsory Education (2011 edition), the new edition was published in 2012. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this new edition of New Standard English for Primary Schools? To what extent does this textbook meet the requirements of the English Curriculum Standards for compulsory Education (2011 Edition)? In order to find out these answers, to provide suggestions to the textbook writers to improve the textbooks and to make teachers use the textbooks more effectively, this paper finds out the advantages and disadvantages of the textbooks by comparing and synthesizing the internal and external evaluation of the textbooks. The internal evaluation is designed by Professor he Anping. The evaluation list consists of 18 questions, which are divided into 5 dimensions-knowledge and science, ideological and cultural connotation, psychology and development law, level of compilation and feasibility. The following points were scored as follows. Finally, the total score, analysis of the data. The external evaluation uses a questionnaire designed by Grant and partly modified by Professor Cheng Xiaotang. The questionnaire consists of 3 parts, each containing 10 questions. The titles of the three parts are: (1) is the teaching material in accordance with the students' learning needs? (2) is the teaching material in line with the teaching needs of the teachers? (3) are the textbooks in line with the needs of the curriculum standards? The scores are as follows: YES, 2, 1, 0. Finally, the statistical score, analysis of the data. By comparing, synthesizing internal and external evaluation, the results show that the New Standard English textbook has 5 advantages and 5 shortcomings. The five advantages are as follows: (1) in the teaching objectives, Topics and functions are basically consistent with the compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard (2011); (2) has a systematic structure; (3) integrates knowledge of other disciplines; (4) provides multiple learning channels for learners; (5) feasibility. The main contents are as follows: (1) some input languages are not properly designed; (2) cultural connotations are inadequate; (3) there are not many communicative activities with real purpose; (4) for students, (5) lack of cultivation of students' imagination and creativity. The author puts forward some suggestions to the author and the teachers who use the textbook. Finally, this paper summarizes the research, points out the shortcomings and puts forward suggestions for the follow-up study.
