英语绘本提高农村小学生英语阅读能力的实证研究

在小学英语教学中,学生的英语知识更多依赖于课堂教学及小学生课外广泛而有效的阅读。然而,在农村这一特殊的教育、学习环境中,特别是在农村英语教学中,教学方法与阅读材料单一,教学效果也不尽如人意。与城市学生相比较,如何提高农村小学生的综合语言运用能力,值得我们每一位基层英语教师思考。绘本,是以图文并茂的形式向儿童讲故事,被国际公认为是最适合儿童阅读的书。与注重语言文字的阅读比较而言,绘本更直观形象,更能够符合小学生的心理特点和认知能力,适合小学阶段词汇量掌握不多的孩子阅读和学习,对小学生的语言、思维及阅读能力的提高具有至关重要的影响。因此笔者认为在众多阅读资源中,英语绘本可以作为英语教学的一种辅助阅读材料加以开发利用。本文在这样的背景下,笔者以输入理论、认知理论为依据,从小学英语阅读教学的背景、意义和农村开展阅读教学的困难着手分析,结合自己的实践,以文献分析的方法和实证法,重点阐述了英语阅读教学中绘本教学能够激发农村小学生的学习兴趣,在一定程度上提高农村小学生的阅读能力,通过农村小学英语绘本教学的实验设计和实践操作,探讨了农村小学英语绘本教学中遇到的问题及对策。此项实验是笔者从所在学校抽取两...
