杜威对进步教育的观察——《进步教育与教育科学》指要

【摘要】：在现代教育改革中,"新教育"几乎是"现代教育"的同义语。"新教育"究竟是怎么一回事,如何看待标榜"儿童中心"(或"学生本位")的新教育,是基础教育改革中不容回避的问题。鉴于杜威一度被视为"进步教育"的代言人,故本文着重介绍杜威对进步教育的客观分析。其中涉及进步教育实践的基本特点(共同要素),新教育同传统教育的主要区别,新教育本身问题的症结,从中触及教育舆论中"新教育"解读的误区。由此进一步讨论杜威在进步教育与传统教育争论中的角色地位问题。
[Abstract]:In the reform of modern education, "new education" is almost synonymous with "modern education". "How to treat the new education as "children's center" (or "student-centered") is an unavoidable problem in the reform of basic education.As Dewey was once regarded as the spokesman of progressive education, this paper focuses on Dewey's objective analysis of progressive education.It involves the basic characteristics of the practice of progressive education (common elements), the main differences between new education and traditional education, the crux of the problem of new education itself, and the misunderstanding of interpretation of "new education" in educational public opinion.The role of Dewey in the debate between progressive education and traditional education is further discussed.
