高中英语阅读课堂提问培养学生批判性思维能力的实证研究

  在经济全球化和信息全球化的大背景下,批判性思维能力作为时代需要,也越来越受到教育界的重视。然而,目前高中英语教师普遍倾向于“填鸭式”的阅读教学模式,一味地将词汇学习、语法记忆、海量练习当作高分法宝,而忽视了对学生批判性思维能力的培养,也导致学生对英语阅读的兴致黯然,甚至将其视为负担。经过阅读大量文献,笔者发现国内外学者大多侧重对批判性思维能力的理论研究,而对于真实课堂的实证研究却寥寥无几。因此,本研究对以阅读课堂提问为媒介促进学生批判性思维能力的发展进行实证研究,并试图回答以下几个问题:首先,高中生批判性思维能力的现状如何?其次,笔者所设计的以批判性思维为导向的阅读提问能否促进学生批判性思维能力以及阅读能力的改善。最后,该阅读提问教学方式能否提高学生对英语的阅读兴趣?本研究以互动假说理论、建构主义理论和批判性提问框架理论为理论依据,选取了福州第四中学高一年级的(10)班和(11)两个平行班进行教学实践。本次教学实验借助批判性思维能力问卷调查,阅读兴趣访谈以及批判性阅读能力测试。实验结束后,用数据分析软件SPSS 23.0对实验结果进行分析,得到以下主要结论:首先,目前高中学生批判性思维...
