“剑桥学派”的史学方法与激进民主

【摘要】："剑桥学派"虽然是上个世纪70年代崛起的思想史研究学派,但在英美学界的影响辐射力迄今仍然相当强势。"剑桥学派"提出的思想史方法论范式,即"让文本返回它最初的写作语境",看起来非常学术化,即强调作为历史研究的思想史研究的客观性。其实,"剑桥学派"并非仅仅是一个思想史研究的学派,毋宁说,它首先是当代西方学界激进民主政治理论中的一支。"剑桥学派"所提倡的思想史方法范式本身,就具有激进民主性质。其代表人物波考克和斯金纳的史学方法论清楚告诉我们,只有先颠覆传统的思想史研究方法,用新的史学方法取而代之,才能顺应时代的激进民主潮流。"剑桥学派"让思想史研究变成了激进民主政治论的场域,值得我们保持警惕。
[Abstract]:Although Cambridge School is a school of thought history research that rose in the 1970s, the influence of Cambridge School in Anglo-American academic circles is still quite strong up to now. " The methodology paradigm of the history of thought proposed by Cambridge School, that is, "let the text return to its original writing context", seems to be very academic, that is, to emphasize the objectivity of the study of the history of thought as a historical study. In fact, Cambridge School is not just a school of thought history, but rather, it is a branch of radical democratic political theory in contemporary western academic circles. " The method paradigm of the history of thought advocated by Cambridge School has a radical and democratic nature. The historical methodology of its representatives, Polcock and Skinner, clearly tells us that only by subverting the traditional research methods of the history of thought and replacing them with new historical methods can we conform to the radical democratic trend of the times. " The Cambridge School made the study of the history of thought a field of radical democratic politics, which deserves our vigilance.
