群体情境中的情绪放大效应

【摘要】:情绪作为社会信息的载体,并不是在孤立的环境中产生的,而是在社会环境中通过与他人的互动过程中产生的。结合社会比较理论(social comparison theory)和情绪传染理论(emotional contagion),我们假设,相对于个体单独一人,个体在群体中会体验到更强烈的情绪,且群体中个体的情绪体验会随着群体规模的扩大(在一定范围内)而增强。 实验1(1a和1b)分别考察了在1人情境以及不同规模的群体情境(3人、5人和7人)下,被试观看愉悦视频(实验1a)和悲伤视频(实验1b)时的情绪状态。结果表明,群体情境下被试的情绪强度(愉悦/悲伤)普遍显著高于个体情境下的情绪强度;且随着群体规模的扩大,个体的情绪水平呈逐步上升的趋势。 实验2采用更加现实的抽奖任务考察群体情绪的放大效应,让1人情境、3人群体情境、7人群体情境下的被试抽奖(中奖概率为50%),抽中每人获得20元,未抽中则获得0元。结果表明,中奖的条件下,,群体情境中被试的愉悦程度显著高于个体的愉悦程度;同样,未中奖的条件下,群体情境中被试的失望程度显著高于个体的失望程度。随着群体规模的扩大,个体的情绪水平呈逐步上升的趋势。此外,社会动机因素(对他人情绪的评估)对情绪体验具有显著的正向影响,即社会动机越强烈,情绪体验水平越高。本研究结果证实了群体情境中的情绪放大效应,对其限制性条件和内在机制也进行了初探。
[Abstract]:Emotion, as a carrier of social information, is generated not in isolated environments, but in social environments through interaction with others, combining social comparison the theory of social comparison with the theory of emotional contagion. Compared with the individual alone, the individual will experience stronger emotions in the group, and the emotional experience of the individual in the group will increase with the expansion of the group scale (within a certain range). In experiment 1a and 1b, we examined the emotional state of the subjects watching pleasure video (experiment 1a) and sad video (experiment 1b) under the condition of one person and three people and seven people in different group situations, respectively. The emotional intensity (pleasure / sadness) of the subjects in the group situation was significantly higher than that in the individual situation, and with the expansion of the group size, the emotional level of the individual gradually increased. In experiment 2, a more realistic raffle task was used to investigate the amplification effect of group emotion, and one person and three people were asked to draw the lottery under the group situation of 7 people (the probability of winning the lottery was 50 yuan, and each of them received 20 yuan. The results showed that the subjects' pleasure in group situation was significantly higher than that of individuals in the group situation, and in the same case, when the prize was not won, the degree of pleasure of the subjects was significantly higher than that of the individual. The degree of disappointment in the group situation was significantly higher than that in the individual. With the expansion of the group size, the emotional level of the individual gradually increased. Social motivation factors (assessment of other people's emotions) have a significant positive impact on emotional experience, that is, the stronger the social motivation, the higher the level of emotional experience. The restrictive conditions and internal mechanism are also discussed.
