[Abstract]:In real life, people often need to cheat in order to achieve their own purpose, which requires people to suppress and hide their true feelings and feelings. These repressed and hidden feelings are sometimes expressed in the form of a very fast facial expression, which is called a microemoji. Microexpressions become powerful behavioral cues for detecting lies and dangerous intentions. However, microexpressions express quickly, It is very difficult for people to recognize microexpressions accurately. Previous studies have shown that facial feedback is an effective internal clue for facial expression recognition, which is a special form of human facial expression. Researchers do not understand the role of facial feedback in the process of microfacial expression recognition. The answer to this question will deepen researchers' understanding of the process of microfacial expression recognition. Judicial and anti-terrorism applications provide a theoretical basis. This study explored the role of facial feedback in microfacial expression recognition, including two experiments. In experiment 1, the researchers enhanced the movement impedance of facial muscles. The effect of enhanced facial feedback on the process of microfacial expression recognition was studied. In experiment 2, the effect of facial feedback inhibition on the process of microfacial expression recognition was studied by inhibiting facial muscle movement in the mouth. The results showed that increased facial feedback increased the recognition accuracy of sad microexpressions and happy microexpressions in a short duration of time, but did not improve the participants' anger and surprise. In addition, the results of the study showed that inhibition of facial feedback reduced the recognition accuracy of subjects for surprised microexpressions and disgust at medium duration (150 Ms). But it does not affect the accuracy of recognition of microexpressions of sadness, anger, fear, happiness. These results partially support the simulation model of emotional perception. This suggests that in the process of microfacial expression recognition, People spontaneously mimic perceived microexpressions, and can use the imitated facial feedback to help them recognize microexpressions. This process is similar to the human process of recognizing ordinary expressions. It suggests that microfacial expression may have the same recognition mechanism as ordinary expression. This study deepens the research on the process and mechanism of microfacial expression recognition, and lays a theoretical foundation for the application of microfacial expression research in the field of practice.
