二语句子加工中不同熟练度对动词亚范畴认知的影响

【摘要】:句子是由词汇基于一定的语法规则建构起来的语言单位。因此,词汇特征及其认知水平直接影响到句子的加工质量。研究表明,核心动词对句子的理解和产生具有重要作用,不但对其协同出现的论元结构有着句法或语义方面的约束,而且能够将不同层面的语言或非语言信息进行有效整合。研究表明,动词亚范畴信息在句法解歧、从句加工等方面均具有重要作用,对该领域的研究对于洞悉人类语言的建构原则、句法和语义相互作用的规律、句子加工的内在认知机制等有着重要的理论及现实意义。以往对动词亚范畴信息的研究多以母语者为研究对象,而对二语者研究较少。因此本研究以不同熟练度二语者为研究对象,探讨二语句子加工中不同熟练度对动词亚范畴认知的影响。本研究以花园路径句为实验材料,以不同熟练度(高、低熟)中-英晚期二语者为被试,探讨二语句子加工中不同熟练度对动词亚范畴认知的影响。本研究共包括3个实验:实验1包括1a句子完成测验和1b固定步速阅读测验,目的在于考察被试对动词亚范畴信息的使用情况和探讨高、低熟被试对动词亚范畴信息的敏感性差异。结果发现,在实验1a中,高、低熟被试的成绩存在差异,高熟被试的成绩显著优于低熟被试。对实验材料进行分析发现,被试在动词偏好维度上的成绩存在差异,SC维度的成绩优于DO维度。在实验1b中,未发现高、低熟被试之间的差异。实验2为自定步速阅读测验,探讨高、低熟被试在句子加工过程中能否利用动词亚范畴偏好框架进行句子建构。结果发现,在动词区,未发现被试在动词偏好使用上的差异。在解歧区,高熟被试在SC偏好维度下对歧义句的注视时间长于非歧义句的注视时间,低熟被试仅在解歧区的动词偏好维度上存在差异,在其他维度上不存在差异。实验3为眼动实验,在自然阅读的状态下,探讨高、低熟被试动词亚范畴信息的使用的内在认知过程,进一步探讨高、低熟差异的具体表现。结果发现:高熟被试与低熟被试在首次注视时间、总注视时间和回视次数上存在差异,高熟被试的首次注视时间和总注视时间均短于低熟被试,高熟被试比低熟被试的回视次数多;在歧义句的加工中,高熟被试在区域2的注视时间明显长于区域1和区域3;高、低熟被试存在相似的回视模式。根据研究结果,本研究结论如下:(1)二语熟练度影响句法加工中动词亚范畴信息的利用,高熟被试对动词亚范畴信息的利用明显优于低熟被试;二语被试对动词亚范畴信息的敏感程度低于母语者。(2)动词亚范畴信息在二语句子加工的初始阶段不发挥作用,而在句子加工的再分析阶段发挥作用,支持“两阶段模型理论”。(3)对于“汉-英”二语者,英语熟练度不仅影响句子加工的即时性过程,也影响再分析过程。(4)二语者与母语者在句法加工上不存在本质差异,随着二语熟练度的增加,二语者对句法加工能达到一种类母语状态,支持“D/P”理论模型。
[Abstract]:A sentence is a language unit constructed by a vocabulary based on a certain grammar rule. Therefore, the lexical features and their cognitive level directly affect the processing quality of the sentence. The research shows that the core verb plays an important role in the understanding and production of the sentence, not only has the syntactic or semantic constraint on the meta-structure that the core verb does, but also can effectively integrate the language or the non-language information at different levels. The research shows that the sub-category information of the verb has an important role in the aspects of syntactic disambiguation, clause processing and so on, The internal cognitive mechanism of sentence processing is of great theoretical and practical significance. In the past, the study of the sub-category information of the verb is mostly based on the mother tongue, and the study of the two-language learners is less. In this study, the influence of the different proficiency of the two-sentence subprocess on the subcategory cognition of the verb is discussed. In the disambiguation region, the gaze time of the ambiguous sentence is longer than that of the non-ambiguous sentence in the SC preference dimension, and the low-maturity test is only a difference in the verb preference dimension of the disambiguation region, and there is no difference in other dimensions. Experiment 3 is an eye movement experiment. In the state of natural reading, the internal cognitive process of the use of sub-category information of high and low-maturity test verbs is discussed, and the concrete performance of high and low-maturity differences is further discussed. The results show that the first fixation time, the total fixation time and the total fixation time of the high-maturity tested and the low-maturity are shorter than that of the low-maturity test, and the high-maturity is more than that of the low-maturity test, and in the processing of the ambiguous sentence, The gaze time of the high-maturing test in the region 2 is significantly longer than the region 1 and the region 3; high, low-maturity is tested in a similar back-view mode. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions of this study are as follows: (1) The proficiency of the two-language proficiency affects the use of the sub-category information of the verb in the syntactic processing, and the utilization of the sub-category information of the verb is obviously better than that of the low-maturity test; the sensitivity of the two-language test to the sub-category information of the verb is lower than that of the mother tongue. (2) The sub-category information of the verb does not play a role in the initial stage of the two-statement sub-processing, and plays a role in the re-analysis phase of the sentence processing to support the 鈥渢wo-stage model theory鈥,
