【摘要】：本翻译报告原文选用美国医学博士蒂莫西·麦考尔(Timothy McCall)所著的《瑜伽疗法:健康与康复的处方》(Yoga as Medicine:The Yogic Prescription for HealthHealing)第二章作为原文,其标题为《瑜伽学》(The Science of Yoga)。该书主要探讨了瑜伽在治疗疾病及康复方面的潜力。本翻译报告主要包括四部分,第一部分是对整个翻译项目的介绍,包括背景、意义及结构。第二部分是对原文文本的分析,包括作者简介,出版信息,主要内容介绍及语言学特征。根据卡特琳娜·赖斯(Katharina Reiss)的文本类型理论,原文为信息型文本,该类文本的翻译以准确传递原文信息,确保译文可读性为宗旨。第三部分是本报告的核心,即翻译过程中采用的理论依据,同时本部分还阐明了翻译难点及相应的翻译方法。在彼得·纽马克(Peter Newmark)的交际翻译理论指导下,主要运用省译、增译和分译等翻译技巧完成了译文,其中所涉及的专业术语及长难句是翻译难点。第四部分为全篇报告总结,即阐述作者通过翻译该文本所受到的启发和感悟以及仍有待解决的问题。最后,希望本报告能够为信息型文本翻译之研究提供参照。
[Abstract]:This translation report text selects the American medical doctor Timothy MacDoll (Timothy McCall) wrote: "yoga therapy and rehabilitation of health prescription" (Yoga as Medicine:The Yogic Prescription for HealthHealing) as the second chapter, titled "Yoga" (The Science of Yoga). The book focuses on the potential of yoga in the treatment of disease and rehabilitation. The translation report consists of four parts. The first part is the introduction of the entire translation project, including the background, significance and structure. The second part is the analysis of the text of the original, including the introduction of the author, the publication of information, the introduction of the main content and the linguistic features. According to the text typology theory of Katerina Rice (Katharina Reiss), the original text is informative text, and the translation of this text is to convey the original information accurately and ensure the readability of the target text. The third part is the core of the report, that is, the theoretical basis used in the process of translation, and this part also clarifies the difficulties of translation and the corresponding translation methods. Peter Newmark (Peter Newmark) under the guidance of the theory of communicative translation, mainly by omission, amplification and translation skills to complete the translation and terminology involved and long sentence translation is difficult. The fourth part is the summary of the full report, that is to explain the author's enlightenment and understanding through the translation of the text, as well as the problems still to be solved. Finally, it is hoped that this report can provide reference for the study of informational text translation.
