【摘要】：该论文是一篇翻译实践报告。原文选自《虹霓显而复隐:母子关于生命、亲情、死神的对话》一书,该书为美国传奇名媛格洛丽亚·范德比尔特和儿子CNN著名记者安德森·库伯所共著的书信集,记录了一整年的邮件通信。本次翻译任务为该书第四章和第五章,该部分围绕母亲格洛丽亚的第四段婚姻展开,儿子安德森讲述父亲离世、哥哥自杀给其带来的人生改变,母亲格洛丽亚回忆其童年孤独、少年叛逆、婚姻不幸、亲人离世、事业失败等种种人生困境。儿子提问,母亲回答,母子二人以邮件通信的方式讲述了范德比尔特家族盛名之下的悲喜人生。本翻译报告由四章构成,第一章主要介绍该翻译项目的背景、目的、意义,源文本的语言风格,同时对尤金·奈达的功能对等翻译理论进行说明;第二章为翻译过程描述,包括译前、译中、译后三方面的翻译过程;第三章为案例分析,在奈达的功能对等理论的指导下,剖析翻译过程中,在词汇、句法、篇章中运用的翻译策略。第四章讲述了译者对整个翻译实践过程的反思,并对翻译过程中积累的经验和教训进行总结。通过本次翻译实践,译者对奈达的功能对等理论有了更深的解读,也进一步提升了自身的翻译水平。
[Abstract]:This thesis is a translation report. Original from "the rainbow comes and goes about life: mother, family, the death of dialogue" a book, the book for the legendary American socialite Gloria Vanderbilt and son of CNN famous reporter Anderson Kolb is a collection of letters, record the email communication throughout the year. This translation for the fourth and fifth chapter, this part focuses on mother Gloria's fourth marriage, son Anderson tells his father died, his brother Dutch act to bring its life change, mother Gloria recalled his childhood alone, the young rebellious, unhappy marriage, the death of loved ones, the cause of the failure of all the difficulties of life. His son asked his mother answer, and two people to mail communication way about under the Vanderbilt family's tragic life. Famous translation of the report consists of four chapters, the first chapter mainly introduces the translation The purpose, background, significance, source text language style, while Eugene Nida's translation theory of functional equivalence is described; the second chapter is to describe the process of translation, including translation, translation, translation and post translation process in three aspects; the third chapter is the case analysis, in Nida's functional equivalence theory, translation analysis in the process, vocabulary, syntax, discourse based translation strategies. The fourth chapter describes the translator's reflection on the whole process of translation practice, translation and the accumulation of experience and lessons in the process are summarized. Through the practice of translation, the translator function of Nida's equivalence theory has a deeper interpretation, but also further enhance the the level of translation.
