《脉》汉英翻译反思性研究报告

【摘要】：本翻译之原语文本选自杂志《十月》,2016年第二期的短篇小说《脉》。作者祁媛是80后作家的代表人物之一,她的写作基本上来自个体经验和文化记忆。祁媛在《脉》中揭露了时代秘密——生活中的不堪和庸俗未必只指向那些买首饰却借机偷窥售货员美丽手指的庸夫俗子,也会发生在那些道貌岸然的知识分子身上,他们往往嘴上说得冠冕堂皇,暗地里却做着不堪的勾当。笔者在翻译实践中遇到的困难包括大量的连动句式、四字词语、中医专用术语(医学古文)以及词义空缺。笔者尝试使用不同的词语、短语和句式试图准确地传达原文作者所要表达的含义,从而体现病患关系的微妙变化。原文中有许多成语和作者自创的四字词语,笔者充分利用各种词典和网络资源厘清其确切中文含义并选择最为恰当的英文翻译出来。除此之外,笔者采用增译、省译、分译、合译等技巧解决了长句子等诸多翻译困难。本实践报告共有五章。首先,笔者对原文的特点和翻译过程做了简单的介绍。其次,对翻译过程中所遇到的问题和解决方法加以举例分析。最后,对本次翻译实践进行了深刻总结。虽然译文经过多次的修改和润色,但仍存在许多缺点和不足。希望本次翻译研究既能对笔者的翻译能力有所提高,也能对其他翻译爱好者有所帮助。
[Abstract]:The source text of this translation is selected from the magazine October, the second issue of 2016 short story, the author of Qi Yuan is one of the representative characters of the post-80s writers. Her writing basically comes from her personal experience and cultural memory. In "Pulse", Qi Yuan reveals the secret of the times-the vulgarity of life is not necessarily directed only at the vulgar sons who buy jewelry but take the opportunity to peep at the beautiful fingers of salespeople. It also happens to the respectable intellectuals, who tend to speak with a high-sounding voice and do unspeakable activities in secret. The difficulties encountered by the author in translation practice include a large number of conjunctive sentence patterns and four-character words. The author tries to use different words, phrases and sentence patterns to convey exactly what the original author wants to express. So as to reflect the subtle changes in patient relationship. There are many idioms and the author's own four-word words in the original text. The author makes full use of all kinds of dictionaries and network resources to clarify their exact Chinese meaning and choose the most appropriate English translation. The author has solved many difficulties in translating long sentences by adding, saving, dividing and combining translation techniques. This practical report consists of five chapters. First, the author makes a brief introduction to the characteristics of the original text and the process of translation. Although the translation has been revised and refined many times, However, there are still many shortcomings and shortcomings.
