活动教学法在小学英语口语教学中的应用研究

【摘要】:随着中国国际地位的不断攀升和经济全球化的进一步加剧,英语作为国际通用语言,口语表达的重要性毋庸置疑。《义务教育英语课程标准(2011版)》中明确规定了英语的性质是人文性和工具性,学习语言的最终目的是为了交流。但长期以来,在中国应试教育的影响下,基础教育更多的是注重语言知识的灌输,轻视语言技能的培养,致使很多学习了十几年英语的学生都不能甚至不敢开口说英语,导致最终学到的英语是一门“哑巴英语”。小学阶段是培养学生语言能力的重要时期,而活动教学法是符合学生兴趣特点的一种教学方法。笔者通过学生调查问卷、教师访谈的方式,对沈阳市三所不同层次的小学进行了调查。调查得知,英语口语教学重视程度不够,学生的口语能力有待提升,虽然有些教师在使用活动教学法,但是使用的效果并不理想。笔者根据了解到的现状,结合自己的实际教学,在小学五年级采用活动教学法对英语口语教学进行行动研究,研究时间为3个月,在研究中不断实践、反思、再实践、再反思。研究采用定性与定量相结合的方式,笔者主要通过问卷、访谈、课堂观摩、以及口语成绩测验来收集数据。研究结果表明,通过两轮的行动研究,笔者所实施的活动教学法有利于提高学生口语表达的兴趣、自信心,有利于提高学生的口语能力,同时还总结出了活动教学法的教学程序以及主要的活动形式。
[Abstract]:With the rising international status of China and the further aggravation of economic globalization, English as an international common language, There is no doubt about the importance of spoken language. The English Curriculum Standard for compulsory Education (2011) clearly states that the nature of English is human and instrumental, and that the ultimate purpose of learning a language is to communicate. But for a long time, Under the influence of examination-oriented education in China, basic education pays more attention to the inculcation of language knowledge and despises the cultivation of language skills. As a result, many students who have studied English for more than ten years are unable or even afraid to speak English. The English that leads to the final learning is a "mute English". The primary school stage is an important period to develop students' language ability, and the activity teaching method is a teaching method which accords with the characteristics of students' interest. A survey of three primary schools at different levels in Shenyang has been conducted. The investigation shows that oral English teaching is not paid enough attention to and students' oral ability needs to be improved, although some teachers are using activity-based teaching methods. However, the effect is not satisfactory. According to the present situation and the actual teaching, the author adopts the activity teaching method in the fifth grade of primary school to carry on the action research to the spoken English teaching, the research time is 3 months. The research adopts the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The author collects data mainly through questionnaire, interview, classroom observation and oral test. Through two rounds of action research, the activity teaching method implemented by the author is helpful to improve the students' interest in oral expression, self-confidence and students' oral ability. At the same time, it summarizes the teaching procedure and main activity forms of activity teaching method.
