传统音标教学法和自然拼读法的比较研究

【摘要】：2001年,中国第八次课程改革正式拉开序幕,英语的开课时间提前到小学三年级。在这种背景下,国外一种新的英语教学法—自然拼读法流传到中国。与传统国际音标法不同,自然拼读法的核心是“见词能读,听音能写”。本研究主要采用对比法和实验法,选取两个平行班,将传统的国际音标法和新兴的自然拼读法做对比。通过音标、单词、学习兴趣三个维度对比各自的特点,旨在揭示这两种教学法在小学英语教学中的优缺点,进一步丰富我国小学阶段英语教学的理论和实践体系。论文的第一部分是引言,引言中包括研究背景、研究内容、研究意义和研究方法;第二部分是文献综述,这部分主要梳理了二者的发展历程和研究现状,并总结了以往的研究中二者各自的特点;第三部分是实验研究,本着“一切从实际出发”和“以学生为中心”的教育理念,笔者首先对实验区展开问卷调查,了解该地区小学阶段英语教师和学生的基本情况;接着根据调查问卷的结果设计实验方案,进行实证研究。本研究的实验对象为河南省南阳市某小学六年级的学生。实验周期共计十八周,分为实验前、实验中、实验后几个阶段。第四部分是数据分析,将得到的前测和后测数据用SPSS软件进行分析;第五部分是结论,通过数据分析得出结论:(1)在音标教学方面,两者各自有优缺点;(2)在单词教学方面,自然拼读法对学生单词的拼读和记忆能力要优于国际音标;(3)在学习兴趣方面,自然拼读法更适合小学阶段学生的身心特点。
[Abstract]:In 2001, the eighth curriculum reform in China officially kicked off, and the start time of English was advanced to the third grade of primary school.In this context, a new foreign English teaching method-natural spelling spread to China.Different from the traditional international phonetic alphabet, the core of natural spelling is that "see words can read, listen to sound can write".In this study, two parallel classes were chosen to compare the traditional international phonetic alphabet method with the new natural spelling method.By comparing the characteristics of phonetic symbols, words and learning interests, the author aims to reveal the advantages and disadvantages of these two teaching methods in primary English teaching, and further enrich the theoretical and practical system of English teaching in primary schools in China.The first part is the introduction, which includes the research background, the research content, the research significance and the research method. The second part is the literature review, this part mainly combs the development course and the research present situation of the two.The third part is the experimental research. Based on the educational concept of "everything from reality" and "student-centered", the author first carries out a questionnaire survey on the experimental area.To understand the basic situation of English teachers and students in primary school in this area, and then design the experimental scheme according to the results of the questionnaire, and carry out an empirical study.The subjects of this study are the sixth grade students of a primary school in Nanyang City, Henan Province.The experimental period is 18 weeks, which is divided into several stages before and after the experiment.The fourth part is the data analysis, the obtained pre-test and post-test data are analyzed by SPSS software, the fifth part is the conclusion, through the data analysis, we can draw a conclusion: in phonetic alphabet teaching, both have their own advantages and disadvantages.The natural spelling method is better than the international phonetic alphabet in terms of learning interest, and natural spelling method is more suitable for the students' physical and mental characteristics in primary school.
