《成功适应气候变化》英译汉翻译实践报告

【摘要】:当前,全球气候日益恶化,人们的日常生活受到极大影响,这也使大气科学领域学者意识到寻求解决气候变化方案的重要性。笔者受中国科学院(兰州分院)资源与环境研究中心委托,承接该领域相关材料的翻译任务。通过查阅相关背景资料,参考有关描述气候变化的平行文本,反思与总结此次翻译实践活动,从而形成本翻译实践报告。本翻译实践报告所选文本节选自《成功适应气候变化》(Successful Adaptation to Climate Change)一书的第二、三章,属于科技型文本,重在信息传递的准确性与可读性。报告主要由五部分构成,分别为引言、任务描述、翻译过程、案例分析与结论。在翻译目的论指导下,对平行文本的语言风格及措辞等方面进行分析,通过具体实例中对直译、转换、正反译法以及增词法等翻译方法的运用,归纳总结翻译过程中遇到的问题,以期对科技文本的翻译实践活动有所裨益,并为我国大气科学研究者提供借鉴,实现气候解决措施的多元化与具体化,从而降低或避免气候变化给人们带来的负面影响及环境风险。
[Abstract]:At present, the global climate is deteriorating and people's daily life is greatly affected, which also makes scholars in the field of atmospheric science realize the importance of finding solutions to climate change. The author is commissioned by the Resources and Environment Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Lanzhou Branch) to undertake the translation of related materials in this field. By consulting relevant background materials and referring to parallel texts describing climate change, this translation practice report can be formed by reviewing and summarizing the translation practice. The selected text of this translation practice report is excerpted from chapters 2 and 3 of successful adaptation Adaptation to Climate change. It is a scientific text with emphasis on the accuracy and readability of information transmission. The report consists of five parts: introduction, task description, translation process, case analysis and conclusion. Under the guidance of Skopos theory of translation, this paper analyzes the language style and wording of parallel texts, and makes use of such translation methods as literal translation, conversion, positive and negative translation and lexical addition. The problems encountered in the process of translation are summarized and summarized in order to benefit the translation practice of scientific and technological texts, and to provide reference for the researchers of atmospheric science in China, so as to realize the diversification and concretization of climate solutions. In order to reduce or avoid the adverse effects of climate change on people and environmental risks.
