吉尔精力分配模式视角下的交替传译中数字口译的研究

【摘要】:一直以来,数字口译被认为是制约口译质量的重要因素之一。译员在遇到数字信息不能够迅速转换就容易出现数字的误译和漏译现象,从而影响了口译的质量。本文在吉尔精力分配模式指导下,主要分析了交替传译中数字口译精力分配失衡的原因和表现,探讨了如何实现精力的有效分配,避免因精力失衡而导致的数字漏译和误译以确保有效的译语产出,进而讨论了处理数字口译任务的相关策略。本文从两会后答记者问中选取了典型的口译实例进行了分析。分析表明,在交替传译数字口译中,数字的信息量大、低预测性、低相关性和低冗余度,以及汉英数字换算的数级差,无一不在增加译员处理数字信息的负担,造成了译员精力分配的失衡。而精力失衡的表现为数字信息的漏译和误译,从而影响了整个口译任务的质量。因此,在吉尔精力分配及其不等式理论的指导下,在听力理解任务阶段,通过充分的译前准备及语段的整体理解,降低听力理解任务阶段的要求,把更多的精力分配到数字信息上;在记忆任务阶段,通过理解和形象记忆数字的方法,增加短时记忆的储存量;在笔记任务阶段,选择适当的数字记录方法,减少精力分配,协调交替传译第一阶段三项任务的有效完成;在译语表达阶段,探索实用的数字的翻译技巧和中国特色数字词汇的处理方法,使翻译数字更快速准确。该研究结果表明,吉尔理论对帮助译员克服数字口译的困难,提高口译的质量有非常实用的理论指导作用;它对未来数字口译研究、教学和实践具有一定的参考价值。
[Abstract]:Digital interpretation has long been regarded as one of the most important factors restricting the quality of interpretation. It is easy for the interpreter to mistranslate and miss the digital information when the digital information can not be converted quickly, which affects the quality of interpretation. Under the guidance of Gill's energy distribution model, this paper mainly analyzes the causes and manifestations of the imbalance in the allocation of energy in digital interpretation, and discusses how to achieve the effective allocation of energy. In order to ensure the effective translation output, the strategies of dealing with the task of digital interpretation are discussed. This paper analyzes the typical interpretation examples from reporters' questions after the two sessions. The analysis shows that the large amount of digital information, low predictability, low correlation and low redundancy, as well as the number level difference between Chinese and English digital conversions, increase the burden on interpreters to process digital information. This has created an imbalance in the distribution of energy among interpreters. The imbalance of energy is the omission and mistranslation of digital information, which affects the quality of the interpretation task. Therefore, under the guidance of Gill's energy allocation and its inequality theory, in the listening comprehension task stage, the requirements of the listening comprehension task stage are reduced by adequate pre-translation preparation and the overall understanding of the segment. Allocate more energy to digital information; increase the amount of short-term memory by means of understanding and visualizing numbers in the memory task phase; and select appropriate digital recording methods during the note-taking task phase to reduce the distribution of energy, To coordinate the effective completion of the three tasks in the first stage of consecutive interpretation, to explore the practical techniques of digital translation and the processing methods of numerals with Chinese characteristics in the stage of target language expression, so as to make the translation of numerals faster and more accurate. The results show that Gill's theory can help interpreters overcome the difficulties of digital interpretation and improve the quality of interpretation, and it has a certain reference value for future digital interpretation research, teaching and practice.
