《拉脱维亚刑法》翻译实践报告

【摘要】：本篇论文的翻译材料是拉脱维亚刑法,大约有六万字。法律英语翻译是应用翻译领域中难度最大的分支之一。英文的法律文本往往句子长,结构复杂,概念纷繁,术语与普通词混淆,并且大量使用古英语和拉丁语,法律本身就非常严谨,法律文本翻译更不得有半丝疏忽。在翻译过程中,因为在目的语当中有很多词和原文对应词具有相近的意义,但意义上又不尽相同,因此,如何在目的语当中选择一个恰当的词来和原文当中相对应的词在意义、搭配和语法上最大程度相匹配是翻译的一个难点。鉴于此,本文的研究目的是探讨解决法律领域近义词的选择与翻译这个难题的解决方法,进而探索发现适合法律领域文献的翻译策略及方法。本翻译报告对翻译实践的总结包括:翻译任务的描述、翻译准备、翻译过程、原始文本特点分析、翻译案例分析和翻译问题及翻译难题的解决方法。在词的翻译方面,采用的翻译方法有同化、异化等。在长句和难句的翻译方面,所采用的翻译方法包括顺译法、重组法、拆分法等。此外,本研究报告对法律领域所出现的专业术语翻译进行了分析,并提出了可供参考的翻译解决方案。综上所述,本翻译实践报告的主要成果是对法律条文翻译中的近义词选择与翻译问题从语义、搭配和语法的角度所展开的探讨和翻译实践进行了总结与归纳,从而为近义词的翻译难题提供具体的参考价值。
[Abstract]:The translation of this thesis is Latvian criminal law, about 60,000 words. Legal English translation is one of the most difficult branches in the field of applied translation. English legal texts often have long sentences, complicated structure, complicated concepts, confusing terms with common words, and extensive use of Old English and Latin, the law itself is very strict, legal text translation must not be a bit negligent. In the process of translation, there are many words in the target language which have similar meanings to the original words, but the meanings are different. Therefore, how to choose an appropriate word in the target language to have meaning with the corresponding word in the original text. Matching the maximum degree of collocation and grammar is a difficult point in translation. In view of this, the purpose of this study is to explore the solution to the problem of the choice and translation of synonyms in the field of law, and to explore the translation strategies and methods suitable for the literature in the field of law. The translation practice is summarized in this report, including the description of translation tasks, translation preparation, translation process, analysis of the characteristics of the original text, translation case analysis, translation problems and solutions to translation problems. In terms of the translation of words, the translation methods adopted include assimilation, alienation and so on. In the translation of long sentences and difficult sentences, the translation methods include the following translation method, reorganization method, split method and so on. In addition, the present study analyzes the translation of technical terms in the field of law, and proposes some translation solutions for reference. To sum up, the main achievements of this translation practice report are to summarize and summarize the problems of synonym selection and translation from the semantic, collocation and grammar perspectives in the translation of legal texts. Therefore, it provides specific reference value for the translation of synonyms.
