释意理论视角下的汉英交传课堂案例分析

【摘要】:法国释意学派翻译理论认为翻译分为三个步骤:理解、脱离原语语言外壳及表达。该学派认为从语言到语言的直译行不通,翻译要传递的是意义。相较于同声传译而言,在交替传译实践的过程中,译员有较多时间去理解原文、进行语言脱壳,从而提高译文质量。因此,用释意理论指导汉英交传实践是具有现实意义的。本篇论文通过听写学生译员在汉英交替传译课堂上的录音,分析译员由于未能准确理解原文或脱离原语语言外壳而导致的误译和不当之处,并从释意理论的视角给出改善译语质量的策略。本文发现理解和脱离原语语言外壳对译语表达的质量有很大影响,可以从释意理论视角来改善译语质量。为了提升自己的汉英交传口译水平,译员在平时应有意识地从增进对中英双语差异的了解、扩展专业领域知识、提高中文理解能力和提高英文表达水平四方面来提升自己的口译水平。对于交替传译课教师而言,翻译教学的特点是强调信息交流而不是传授知识,因此要注重技能训练。这一研究发现可供口译教学者与口译学习者参考借鉴。
[Abstract]:According to the translation theory of the French school of interpretation, translation is divided into three steps: comprehension, separation from the shell of the source language and expression. This school of thought holds that the literal translation from language to language is not feasible, and that translation should convey meaning. Compared with simultaneous interpretation, in the process of consecutive Interpreting practice, translators have more time to understand the original text and remove the shell of the language, so as to improve the quality of the translation. Therefore, it is of practical significance to guide the practice of Chinese-English consecutive Interpreting with the theory of interpretation. This paper analyzes the misinterpretation and impropriety caused by the translator's failure to accurately understand the original text or to deviate from the shell of the source language by dictation of student interpreters' recordings in the Chinese-English consecutive Interpreting class. From the perspective of interpretation theory, the strategies to improve the quality of target language are given. This paper finds that understanding and separating from the original language shell has a great influence on the quality of the target language expression, and it can improve the quality of the target language from the perspective of interpretation theory. In order to improve their Chinese-English consecutive Interpreting interpretation level, translators should consciously improve their understanding of the differences between Chinese and English and expand their expertise in the field of interpretation in peacetime. Improve the ability to understand Chinese and improve the level of English expression in order to improve their interpretation level. For the teacher of alternate translation course, the characteristic of translation teaching is to emphasize information exchange rather than impart knowledge, so we should pay attention to skill training. The findings of this study can be used for reference by both interpreters and learners.
