中外作者海洋工程学术论文引言中转述动词对比研究

　　转述动词是实现转述的重要手段之一,既可以建立转述者研究立场,又可以表达转述者对转述内容的态度。本文自建海洋工程学术论文引言语料库,研究中国作者与英语本族语作者在海洋工程论文引言中转述动词的使用差异。以Hyland(2002)所提出的转述动词分类为研究框架,从使用频率、语义类别、时态语态等方面进行比较分析。研究结果如下:(1)在频次方面,总体上,中国作者存在过度使用转述动词现象但中国作者使用转述动词种类单一集中。转述动词propose在中国作者学术论文中使用频率最高,use在英语本族语作者论文中使用频率最高。Propose,investigate,study,carry out和perform在中国作者的论文中出现频率显著高于英语本族语作者。而present,use和report在英语本族语作者的论文中出现频率显著高于中国作者。(2)在语义类别方面,总体上,中国和英语本族语作者均偏向于使用研究型转述动词,其次是话语型转述动词,最后为认知型转述动词。在研究型转述动词方面,中国作者的使用频次和本族语作者的使用频次之间存在显著性差异,中国作者存在过度使用现象。其中中国和英语本族语作者均避免使用...
