《近现代中国翻译思想史》（节选）英译实践报告

　　虽然语篇衔接是语言学中的一个重要理论,但它同样对翻译实践具有重要的指导意义。由于语篇的每一部分是由各种衔接手段紧密地联系在一起,读者能否理解或接受目标语篇中所要表达的信息将取决于衔接手段。《近现代中国翻译思想史》是王秉钦的一部学术著作,讲述了中国翻译思想的发展历程。在翻译过程中,本文作者注意到了英汉衔接手段的异同。虽然英语中常见的衔接手段也存在于汉语中,但语言和思维方式的差异决定了译者应灵活运用符合目的语习惯的衔接手段。韩礼德和哈桑将衔接手段分为语法衔接和词汇衔接。译者在对此次翻译实践总结过程中发现,语法衔接手段运用得比较多,所以本篇报告着重分析了在语篇衔接中使用语法衔接中的指称、替代、省略和连接来实现语篇连贯的案例。语篇连贯是翻译的最终目的,运用各种手段是实现语篇连贯的有效途径。因此,研究几种衔接手段对于指导翻译工作中语篇的流畅性和连贯性具有重要的现实意义。
