学习者阅读能力与英语花园路径句歧义消解的关系研究

  花园路径句是一种暂时性的局部歧义句,是一种特殊的歧义现象。花园路径句的歧义消解研究一直为语言学家和心理语言学家所关注,它对于理解人类语言的加工机制具有重要意义。本研究旨在探究中国英语学习者的二语阅读能力与英语花园路径句的歧义消解的关系。本研究设计了一个花园路径句理解实验来考察不同阅读熟练度的英语学习者在花园路径句歧义消解中的表现。参与者为60名来自江西某大学英语专业的二年级学生,分为熟练阅读者组和较不熟练阅读者组,每小组有30名学生。参与者需要阅读20个句子,其中包括10个花园路径句和10个非歧义句子。本实验中所有的花园路径句都是主从复合句。阅读完每个句子后,参与者需要回答一个关于该句子的一般疑问句。本研究运用心理学软件E-Prime 2.0编写实验程序,以反应时和得分为指标。所有统计数据均在SPSS 24.0中进行了分析。实验结果表明:(1)学习者阅读能力影响花园路径句的歧义消解。熟练阅读者在理解花园路径句时,比较不熟练阅读者反应更快,并获得更高的测试成绩(反应时p=.000<.05;得分p=.000<.05)。(2)较不熟练阅读者对于花园路径句歧义消解的困难主要在于对其...
