刘宓庆翻译美学视角下《浮生六记》两英译本对比研究

  《浮生六记》是清朝文人沈复的作品,以沈复夫妇的生活为主线,用质朴清新的语言,描绘了一张充满生活气息的画卷。从平凡而又充满情趣的居家生活,到流浪各地的所见所闻,字里行间流露出作者独特的生活态度、价值观念和美学品味。在翻译过程中,要尽可能完整地再现原作的美学意蕴,尽可能让译作能够在译语环境中保持长久的生命力。文学翻译是用另一种语言把文学作品中的艺术意境和美学意蕴传达出来,使读者在读译作时感受到原著中的美,因此审美再现是翻译活动中的一个重要环节。本文首先回顾了中西方翻译史上翻译美学的应用与研究,以及翻译美学与翻译活动相结合的研究,并介绍了刘宓庆翻译美学理论的主要内容;其次,作者对《浮生六记》的两个英译本,林语堂译本和白伦、江素惠译本进行语言上的对比,分析异同;再次,结合刘宓庆的翻译美学,选取具有代表性的词句,从审美客体和审美主体两个方面分析两个译本如何对原作进行审美再现;最后,通过分析表明,翻译美学对文学翻译具有重要的指导作用。不同的译者在翻译过程中所采取的翻译方法和手段因知识水平、文化背景的不同而有所差异。对原文进行审美再现时,林语堂倾向于意译和归化,而白伦江素惠倾向于直译和异化。除此之外...
