中国英语专业硕博学位论文中的批评特征研究

  学术批评是学术研究与学术写作的本质特征之一。在本研究中,它特指学术写作者对现有研究一个或多个方面的负面评价。虽然当前已有不少学术批评方面的研究,但是大多只关注学术批评的策略维度。此外,关于中国英语专业研究生学术写作中的批评特征,仍有待探索。因此,本研究试图探讨中国英语专业硕博研究生学位论文的总体批评特征,各自批评特征,以及硕博学位论文之间批评特征的不同之处。本文对陈新仁(2017)提出的分析框架略作修改从而将批评对象、批评内容、批评强度、批评策略整合到一个框架中,从中国知网随机抽取30篇硕士论文和30篇博士论文,主要采用基于语料库的定量研究方法,并辅以对批评特征的定性分析来考察中国英语专业研究生学位论文的批评特征。研究发现:首先,总体批评特征如下:在批评对象维度,对他人研究的批评占主导地位,这说明硕博研究生能够将自身研究与他人研究相关联,通过对他人研究的批评建立自己的研究空间。在批评内容维度,硕博研究生能较全面地对研究的各方面内容展开学术批评。在批评强度维度,硕博研究生倾向于中性和弱化的语气,这说明硕博研究生在批评过程中展现出客观、谨慎的特点。在批评策略维度,缓和面子威胁型策略比非缓和...
