从把关理论看联络口译中译员的主体性

联络口译是重要的口译类别,但是相关研究,尤其是针对联络译员主体性的研究却并不充分。作者基于此期望借传播学的把关理论来对联络口译员的主体性,尤其是受动性,进行较为充分的跨学科研究。本文首先从把关和口译的本质、把关和口译的模式、把关人和口译员的作用和作用效果、两者的主体性,即主动和受动性,四个方面论证将把关理论引入联络口译研究的合理性。通过理论分析发现,把关人和译员同为信息传播者,译员亦为把关人。把关理论指出,把关人通过选择和加工消息来形成新闻;同时,把关人并不是任意加工,他们受到五个层级的因素的限制。通过口译转录文本和理论研究,本文发现联络口译员和把关人类似,在受制于多重因素的基础上积极筛选和整合信息来表现主体性,即拥有充分的受动性以及主动性。本文借用Shoemaker的五层把关理论,即把关人在个人、传播惯例、组织、媒体外及制度、社会环境五个层面把关,来证明并分析译员的受动性和相应的主动性,并较为系统地整合译员在受动性基础上的主动性的表现:调整、省略、添加和确认信息。其中,调整和省略与把关人的行为具有相似性。最终得出结论,联络口译员基于不同层级的限制因素,调整、省略、添加和确认信息来表现...
