哲学阐释学视角下《牡丹亭》白之译本中文化负载词的英译研究

　　本论文以哲学阐释学为理论指导,以伽达默尔提出的“理解的历史性”,“视域融合”和“效果历史”哲学三原则为切入点,研究美国汉学家白之翻译的汤显祖《牡丹亭》中文化负载词翻译,评析其得失,探寻其成因,以期为古典文学作品中文化负载词的翻译提供一定参照。本研究结果表明,从“理解的历史性”来看,在具体历史环境中,白之的认知具有某种历史局限性,其“合理的偏见”或前理解造成的文化负载词的欠额翻译,未能传达文化负载词的深义;但从“视域融合”原则来看,由于文化差异,在《牡丹亭》的翻译过程中实现译者、译文读者和原文作者三者之间完全的视域融合是不可能的。论文指出,白之在翻译过程中进行了文化过滤,省略了文化负载词的文化意象,方便目标读者理解作品,但却未能准确地传播中国传统文化。“效果历史”原则强调文本意义的开放性和未完成性。就此而言,白之由于历史局限性或自身认知水平的原因,导致不少欠额翻译;而因文化过滤等又造成译文的形式或内容等方面的不必要的缺失。这些不足,召唤后来者在新的历史时期,深入理解文化负载词,予以重译该作品。文化负载词的翻译应该随时代的语言要求而变化,适时重译可望完善其语言文化意蕴。论文依据伽达默尔的哲...
