《欧亚大陆蒙古文化与征服》（第2-3章）英汉翻译实践报告

　　本文是一篇英汉翻译实践报告。原文选自美国最负盛名的蒙元史学家托玛斯·爱尔森所著的《欧亚大陆蒙古文化与征服》（Culture and Conquest in Mongol Eurasia,2001）。全文共二十三章,翻译实践所选章节为第二章“蒙古王朝之前”（Before the Mongols）和第三章“伊尔汗国的形成1251-1265”（Formation of the Il-qans,1251–1265）。选取章节主要介绍了蒙古王朝的更迭以及此时与欧洲大陆尤其是伊朗的关系往来。在翻译的过程中,遇到了不少翻译难点,其中包括词汇难点、句法难点和篇章难点。词汇难点包括人名地名的翻译。句法难点包括长句、定语从句和被动语态的翻译。篇章难点包括语篇衔接与连贯两个方面的翻译难点。该实践报告详细阐述并分析了这些翻译难点。针对词汇难点,译者主要采用注释法和音译法;针对句法难点,译者主要采用顺句法,重构法和改变语态的方法;针对篇章难点,译者分别采取了替代和增加逻辑连词的方法。最后,一方面该文本内容新颖,文本有一定难度,在翻译过程中译者可以提升自身英译汉能力,强化自身英文理解能力和中文表达能力。另一方面,...
