基于语料库的“习语”翻译的可接受性研究

　　《习近平谈治国理政》一书自2014年出版以来,在国内外受到了热烈的欢迎,成为观察和感知当代中国的重要窗口。由于其特殊地位,该书的英译具有一定的权威性和可读性。国内外学者针对该书进行了多方面研究,但从所收集的数据来看,关于这本书的可接受性,尤其是书中所出现的习语的可接受性研究很少涉及。基于此,文章以书中习语为切入点,从目的语读者的角度探讨译文的可接受性,并总结习语的翻译策略。符合当前中国文化“走出去”的发展战略,具有一定的价值。文章借助调查问卷,以外国读者为受访者,调查了《习近平谈治国理政》中习语翻译的可接受性。从回收的60份问卷调查结果得出,约有80%的外国读者认为译文的习语是可接受的。基于此,文章借助NVivo 11,利用自建中英平行语料库,对该书中习语的翻译策略进行编码。研究发现,总体而言,译者倾向于使用异化的翻译策略。但具体案例分析显示,对于语境中有较大文化空缺的习语,直译法、音译加注法效果更好;而语境中文化空缺较小的习语,宜使用意译法、套译法。总而言之,在习语翻译中,可接受性效果佳的翻译策略虽然呈现出以异化为主的趋势,但由于文化、语言、认知语境等因素的差异,在具体翻译方法和翻译...
