目的论视角下《剧变》（第11章）英译汉翻译实践报告

　　《剧变》（Upheaval:Turning Points for Nations in Crisis）是美国著名作家贾雷德·戴蒙德（Jared Diamond,1937-）的作品。在书中,戴蒙德以独到新颖的角度,用个人类比国家来理解危机的概念和影响,并分别提出了个人和国家应对危机的12个建议。通过采用对比研究的方法,他全面深入地剖析了7个国家在遭遇危局时如何度过难关,并对人类社会潜在的危机提出预示,启发人们更加深刻地审视未来。目前,该书尚未有中文译本出版。中国读者通过阅读此书,可以掌握应对个人危机的方法,反思人类社会遭遇的重大危机,并获得对未来生活的启示。全书包括11个章节,译者选取第11章“未来世界去何方?”（What lies ahead for the world?）作为翻译材料。在本章节中,作者揭示了人类将要面临的四大危机——核武器扩散、全球气候变化、全球资源紧缺和全球贫富差距扩大,并提出解决危机的方法和策略,为人类应对全球危机提供了有力参考。在翻译的过程中,译者根据源文本的内容及语言特点,选取弗米尔的目的论作为本次翻译实践的指导理论。德国学者汉斯·弗米尔根据行为学的理论提出:...
