《蜜蜂的生活：蜜蜂在野外不为人知的故事》（1-2章）英汉翻译实践报告

　　本次实践以美国当代畅销科普类书籍作家托马斯·D·西利（Thomas D.Seeley）的科普著作《蜜蜂的生活:蜜蜂在野外不为人知的故事》（The Lives of Bees:The Untold Story of the Honey Bee in the Wild）的部分章节为例,进行翻译研究。直至近几十年来,生物学家才将视角转向蜜蜂在野外的生活。之前主要的研究方向,都主要集中于人工饲养蜂群的生活习性,而我们对蜜蜂在野外的生活却知之甚少。该书对现代社会蜜蜂产业的发展和人与自然的生态关系具有重要意义。鉴于该书目前没有汉语译本,译者选择了该书的第1、2章进行翻译,其中英文字数为17533字,中文译文为28492字。该报告主要从项目背景、翻译过程、实例分析等几个方面对该书的翻译进行了分析与探讨。在该报告中,译者主要对翻译过程中遇到难点进行分析,并针对相关问题提出一些翻译策略。本次翻译过程中所遇到的难点主要分为两个方面:词法层面及句法层面。针对词法层面的翻译难点,译者主要采用了词义选择、词义引申、音译、直译及词性转换等方法来解决相关问题。句法层面上,译者主要采用了变词为句、句式重构、顺句操作及...
