翻译共性视角下汉英同声传译中的主语转换研究

  本文从翻译共性的视角出发,对汉英同声传译中的主语转换进行了研究,试图探讨汉英同声传译中英语译语和原创英语在主语使用上是否存在差异。为了达到这个研究目的,作者提出了三个研究问题:(1)在汉英同声传译中,口译员在翻译主语时采取了什么策略?(2)英语译语和原创英语在主语的使用上是否存在差异,如果有,是什么?(3)在汉英同声传译中,口译员采用相应口译策略的原因是什么?为达到研究目的,本研究选取了三个60分钟的天津夏季达沃斯论坛双语会议视频作为研究语料。对视频进行转录之后,作者将语料分为三类:汉语源语、英语译语和原创英语。然后,根据中英两种语言对主语的定义,并结合已有的中英句法研究,将语料内容逐句划分,并将汉语源语与英语译语进行了文本对齐。之后,作者统计了每种语言的人称主语和物称主语的数量以及主语转换的次数。在准备工作完成后,作者通过卡方检验,计算了汉语源语与原创英语、英语译语与原创英语在主语使用上是否存在显著性差异。本文的研究结果如下:依据本研究的语料,在汉英同声传译中,英语译语和原创英语在主语使用上没有显著性差异,英语译语主语的选择未呈现出翻译共性假说的范化特点。本文认为,产生这个研究结果的...
