《追求完美：优化对文化和心理的影响》（第三章）翻译实践报告

　　本文是一篇翻译项目报告。翻译项目的原文是《追求完美:优化对文化和心理的影响》(Lost in Perfection:Impacts of Optimization on Culture and Psyche)的第三章“优化自我”(The Optimized Self)。该翻译项目旨在把这本书介绍给中国读者,从而让他们学习健身的知识以及健康生活的态度。原章节主要讨论在日常生活中,人们用一些可穿戴设备追踪自己身体状况的案例,但同时由于过度追求健康、完美,他们也常常处于焦躁和抑郁中。本报告的主要内容分五部分,第一、翻译项目介绍,包括项目的背景、意义以及文章结构。第二、原语分析,包括作者简介、主要内容、文本类型和语言特征介绍。第三、理论指导,包括纽马克的交际翻译理论以及交际翻译理论的发展和应用。第四、翻译难点与解决办法:在本章的翻译过程中频频出现的人名、专业术语以及定语从句,被动句的翻译是翻译过程中的难点。在翻译过程中用到的翻译技巧有音译,加注和分译等。第五、总结在翻译过程中所得到的启发、教训和仍待解决的问题。
