《加勒比海地区通史卷六》（第九章）英汉翻译实践报告

　　新世纪以来,随着中国企业“走出去”步伐的加快,拉丁美洲与加勒比海地区（以下简称“拉美”）在中国整体外交布局中的地位日益提升,中拉关系保持良好的发展态势。与此同时,中国学界对地区国别研究愈加重视,拉美地区的国别研究能够对“一带一路”倡议在当地的实施起到积极的推动作用。《加勒比海地区通史》的翻译对加深中国学界对加勒比海地区的了解有一定的帮助作用。本次翻译实践报告是以澳大利亚历史学家希格曼所著《加勒比海通史卷六》一书第九章为翻译材料。本章节是对加勒比海地区过去相关历史文献的回顾。在尤金奈达的功能对等理论指导下,译者在词汇、句法层面结合相关案例对原文本进行了一个分析,通过运用恰当的翻译方法和策略实现原文和译文在功能上的对等。在词汇层面,译者采用了音译法、加注法和引申法;在句法层面,译者采用了转换法、调整法、增词法和正反译法。上述翻译方法和策略使译文读者与原文读者对作品有相同的接受度。
