英汉服饰习语隐、转喻对比研究

  习语是一种特殊的语言文化现象,英汉习语的对比研究对于研究英汉文化差异具有重要意义。作为各类衣服以及饰品搭配的统称,服饰不仅具有遮羞、御寒的功能,更是一种时尚、一种文化。研究服饰习语对习语及文化研究具有重要作用。不同的学者对习语有不同的界定,本文研究的英语习语是除了俚语和谚语之外的固定表达,汉语习语主要是四字成语。传统语言观认为隐喻和转喻只是一种修辞手段。随着认知科学的发展,语言学家对它们进行了更深层次的界定,认为他们不仅仅是一种修辞手段,更是一种认知模式。部分学者对英汉习语进行了认知研究,而英汉服装习语方面的认知对比研究并不多见。基于这种研究现状,本文采用概念隐喻、转喻以及隐转喻作为研究理论框架,选取英汉服饰习语作为研究材料,主要对服饰在人类事务、情境和自然景观方面进行投射而产生的概念隐喻,服饰代指人、关系、地位、生计、情绪、外观以及工作所产生的概念转喻,以及隐转喻在构建服饰习语中的作用进行研究,并且对构建英汉服装习语过程中产生的异同进行对比和原因剖析。本文中的习语语料主要选自Oxford Idioms Dictionary(《牛津习语词典》)、Thesaurus of Traditi...
