中国学习者英语塞音习得发展进程的实验研究

作为所有语言中均存在的语音类别,塞音是学习者语言习得过程中最大的困扰。英语和汉语都有六个塞音,并且从某种程度上来说,它们具有一定的相似性。然而英汉两种语言分别属于不同语系,它们的语音系统从本质上就不同,因此对于把英语作为外语的学习者来说,很难完全掌握英语塞音的发音。本研究按照塞音格局的分析思路,对中国学习者英语塞音的习得进程进行声学考察。实验提取不同水平学习者以及英语本族语者英语塞音发音时的嗓音起始时间(VOT)和闭塞段时长(GAP),建立塞音格局图。通过对不同阶段学习者和本族语者塞音格局图的对比,探究下述问题:1.不同阶段中国英语学习者习得英语塞音的特点有哪些?2.中国英语学习者习得英语塞音的顺序是什么?3.中国英语学习者习得英语塞音的影响因素有哪些?以及发现:1.整体上,中国英语学习者清塞音的习得情况好于浊塞音。在初级阶段,学习者能够很好地掌握清塞音[t]和[k]的发音,而[p]的发音与本土发音人存在差异,浊塞音的范畴并未形成,三个浊塞音均被发成了清塞音;到了中级阶段,清塞音[p]的发音也被完全掌握,但浊塞音的范畴仍未形成;到了中高级阶段,中国学习者清塞音[t]和[k]的发音在GA...
