情态系统视角下米歇尔·奥巴马演讲中的语用身份建构研究

　　随着身份研究的话语转向,对于身份的认识经历了从身份本质观到身份建构观的转变。语用身份论（2018;2019）是由陈新仁教授在身份建构观的基础上提出的,他认为语用身份是社会身份在一定情景语境下的体现,是说话人为实现交际目的可加以利用的语用策略之一（陈新仁,2013:27）。近年来,对于语用身份建构的研究多以会话语篇及文学作品为语料,鲜有对演讲者进行相关研究。米歇尔·奥巴马是美国第44任总统的夫人,在任职期间,她曾做过助选演讲、校园演讲和有关热点问题的演讲等。她在演讲中鼓励听众、宣传思想、赢得听众的信任（Clark,2016）。目前,对其演讲的研究多集中在社会语言学和功能文体学领域,但情态视角下的研究并未引起学者的关注。人际功能是语言三大元功能之一,体现说话人和话语接受者之间的互动关系。情态是实现人际功能的重要部分,是语言使用者对命题和提议的估量和确定程度的体现（Halliday&Matthiessen,2004:147）。人际意义的互动性可对语用身份的动态性进行语义上的解释,而情态则是这种互动性、动态性较为有效的体现。鉴于此,本文拟从情态系统视角探究米歇尔如何通过公共演讲中的情态...
