图形-背景理论下英语方位倒装句的认知机制探析

倒装句是英语中普遍存在的一种语言现象。这种语言现象吸引了许多研究者和学者的注意,他们对此语言现象从语言学的不同角度进行研究其中包括语用功能,修辞功能等等。近年来,一些学者则从认知语言学的角度进行了研究,旨在探索语言和人类心智之间的关系。他们主要采用的认知理论是图形背景理论或者称为射体界标理论。他们的研究取得了许多卓越的成就,在很大程度上推动了理论本身的进步及其在语言分析中的实际应用。然而,大多数研究仅局限于描述性的研究即语言中的那个语言成分是图形哪个是背景,涉及解释性的研究不多,即解释影响图形和背景的选择和组织模式的因素涉及不多。而且对于方位倒装句的生成机制的研究也不多而且研究的深度及广度都具有局限性。此外,并未完全深入挖掘影响认知机制运作的因素。本研究以英语倒装句中的空间方位倒装句为研究对象,从图形背景理论的角度通过对空间倒装句和非倒装句的对比研究以揭示英语空间方位倒装句的认知机制以及影响和操纵其运作的影响因素。通过分析我们得出以下结论:空间方位倒装句的认知机制主要包括三个认知过程:前后意象图式,语法配价过程和主观化。从与客观世界的感知互动到前后意象图式的形成再到语法配价的完成,这是...
