《小恐慌：直面焦虑生活》（第三章和第四章）翻译实践报告

　　本文是一篇翻译实践报告。翻译原文选自《小恐慌:直面焦虑生活》（Little Panic:Dispatches from an Anxious Life）第三章和第四章。该书由美国作家（Amanda Stern）所著,是作者生动且令人心碎的回忆录,讲述了作者20年来如何受到未被确诊的焦虑症影响的经历。根据卡特琳娜·赖斯的文本类型理论,原文为信息型文本,该类文本的翻译以准确传递原文信息、确保译文可读性为宗旨。译者在翻译过程中遇到了几个问题。一是原文简单单词的含义在语境中发生迁移,而迁移后含义不是单词的常用基本含义;二是文化负载词的翻译;三是暗喻和借喻的翻译;四是长难句的翻译。为了提升译文作为传记文体这种信息型文本的可读性,译者在解决翻译问题过程中,既要准确理解传达原文含义,也要尽量使原文译文风格一致。所以,本翻译报告以尤金·A·奈达（Eugene A.Nida）的功能对等为理论基础,探讨了其在翻译过程中的指导作用,并主要运用了增译、转换和分译方法来解决翻译问题。
