英汉If/“如果”非真实条件构式比较研究

If...,then...和“如果...,那么...”是英汉语中表达非真实条件的典型结构,以往对此结构的研究多从传统语言学的角度,侧重对其逻辑和句法结构的研究。近年来,对其从认知角度的分析兴起,侧重对其心理空间、原型和认知域的研究。本文以认知语言学中Goldberg的构式语法为理论框架,从句法、语义和语用三个维度来比较英汉if/“如果”非真实条件构式中与现在、过去和将来事实相反构式的异同。研究结果表明,句法上,英汉语if/“如果”非真实条构式的主从句顺序比较灵活,即从句在前,主句在后或是主句在前,从句在后;在从句中,英语连接词if通常不能和主语交换位置,而汉语中“如果”可以,并且在有其他语助词,如“的话”,“呢”和“了”出现的情况下,“如果”可以省略;而当英语中有助动词should,had和系动词were时,可将if省略,主语和should,had,were互换位置;汉语的条件从句结构可以是“连词+主语+动词”和“连词+动词+宾语”,而英语只能是“连词+主语+动词”;但英汉语条件从句中都不能接“连接词+代词/名词”结构;在主句中,英汉语的从句类型都可以是陈述句,疑问句和感叹句,而汉语还...
